“I’m going to miss you guys so much!” I cried before engulfing everyone into a huge hug.

“Get off me!” Georgia protested, shrugging off my arm. Currently we stood near the entrance of camp, everyone standing with their bags and waiting for the rest of the buses to come. Meadow was going home to Kanto, Sapphire and Candy to Kalos, and Summer to Unova. Pen would just be going to her home here in Sinnoh, as well as Georgia and I.

Everyone in Sinnoh would just take a bus home, and everyone else was taking buses to the airport.

“Oh, looks like our bus is here,” Sapphire observed.

“You guys are so lucky to live in Lumiose City!” Summer whined.

“Bye Emmy! Bye Georgia, Pen, Summer, and Meadow!” Candy screamed, running off towards the bus, Sapphire following.

“Well, see you guys later.” Meadow waved good bye as she walked off towards the Kanto bus. Finally, Summer turned to us, already in tears.

“I haven’t really known you guys that long, and yet I’m going to miss you so much for only a week!” she said. I hugged her again.

“We’ll call, okay?” I replied.

“Be back in a week!” Georgia called as she started off towards our Sinnoh bus, Pen and I following. I waved from my window at Summer as she got on to her bus.

“I’m going to miss this place for the week that we’re away,” I told Georgia, and she just shrugged, taking out her Ipod. Earlier we had agreed that for the last few days we’d visit her home in Snowpointe City. Right now we were going to my home. To Hearthome City.

“Why are we going here?” Georgia questioned, gesturing towards the tall orange building. Currently we were standing in front of the Hearthome City Gym.

“Oh. Uh, yeah, my mom is sorta a Gym leader,” I answered.

“Your mom is Fantina?” she asked in shock. I nodded before walking into the gym.

“Mom! Dad! I’m home!” I screamed, and an elevator descended into the far side of the room, two figures standing on it.

“Oh, Emerald!” my mom cried, engulfing me in a hug. “Oh, and you must be Georgia.” She turned towards Georgia, who was staring at her purple hair.

“Yeah,” she replied.

“Well, you two will have to share Emerald’s room. Emerald, why don’t you show her around? Your mother has a battle scheduled for later,” my dad said. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Georgia.”

I began to walk towards the right, Georgia following behind. When I pressed into the dark purple walls, a door swung open to reveal the residential side of the Gym, where my family lived.

“You look so much like your dad,” Georgia commented when we were inside.

“Yeah, lots of people say that,” I reply. I have my dad’s looks, but I got my albinism from my mom, who dyed her hair purple. I’ve been trying to convince her to let me do that too. “It’s kind of the same with my brothers, because one has albinism and the other looks like my dad.”

Just then, my brothers entered the living room.

“Georgia, meet Tyler and Marvin, my brothers,” I introduced. Tyler has curly white hair, and Marvin has straight black hair. It’s hard to believe they’re twins. And they’re three years older than me.

I led Georgia up to my room, with its lavender walls and piles of stuffed Pokémon in the corners. She stared in distaste at them.

“You can use the bed, I’ll sleep in my chair,” I said, plopping down on my fluffy purple chair. “Make yourself at home.”

For those of you who know less about Pokemon, Kalos is pretty much France and Lumiose City is Paris. You’re welcome.
