"Soon you will all be able to transform into Mutants," Professor Maple announced as he stood on the stage in the eating hall. It was the day after we got back from break: February second. "Becoming a Mutant is another ability of being a Gen. Just as you did when you transformed for the first time, you will be able to turn into a Mutant around a month after your birthday. Of course, you can choose before you transform whether you will transform into a Gen or a Mutant. A Mutant is a half Pokémon half human. Good luck," he explained before stepping off stage.

The next few days were camp as normal. Everyone got back into the "groove" of training.

It took a while for the first people to turn into their Mutant forms. But one evening, during training, Summer and Chip were battling. Summer was using Hydro Pump straight at Chip, and Chip was firing a Flamethrower right back. Soon there was a white flash and they had both changed into their Mutant forms! They both looked like their normal selves, but they were half Pokémon!

Summer had a Squirtle shell and swirly tail, and her hair had grown and turned light blue. Chip had an orange tail and his hair turned bright orange. It was so cool! And they were the first ones to be able to transform into their Mutant forms!

That nights, at dinner, Professor Maple projected onto the stage a chart that showed what new abilities we would gain as we got older.

At fourteen, we would be Mutants, at fifteen, we would be Supers, and at sixteen, we would be Fusions. No one knew what each one meant, other than Mutant, of course.

But soon Destiny explained it all. Apparently, your Super form depends on what Pokémon you were. If you could no longer evolve, like me, then your Super form is just a super vamped version of your Pokémon. But if you could still evolve, your Super form was your fully evolved form. Fusion form was a combination of your Pokémon and another one. Destiny didn't say what our other Pokémon would be, but she did say that it would start with the same letter as our middle name.

"G? What Pokémon starts with G? Groudon, Glailee..." Summer commented. We all listed Pokémon that started with the same letter as our middle name. All I could come up with was Froakie and Feralligator.

As I was about to fall asleep, I looked around our cabin at all the girls that had become my best friends. It was strange to think that before this, we had barely even known each other.

Georgia, on her bunk below me, her long yellowish-blonde hair swirling on her pillow beside her head and her cool but sassy attitude.

Pen, her short light brown hair framing her sleeping face and her being confused about everything.

Summer, her long sandy hair pulled into a scrunchy and her awesome leader abilities.

Meadow, her beautiful black hair falling down the side of her bed and her thoughtful kindness.

Sapphire, her perky blonde hair pulled into bouncy pigtails and her girly ways yet love for nature.

Candy, her neon green hair making a choppy halo around her head and her tomboy manner.

Thinking about all of these people made me wonder where I fit into all of this.

I'd find out soon enough.
