Bullshit

It's okay.

I tell myself that it is okay as we pass by one of our classmate who is being bullied.

I am with the Science Council Auditor—Mandy. Pagkalagpas namin sa kanila, she commented, "Nakakainis yang si Ahren. Ang tanga tanga."

I agree with her.

I really do.

I nodded and even said, "He's too weak. Kasalanan n'ya yan."

Tapos muli akong sinang-ayunan ni Mandy at agad akong ginatungan, "Yeah. I know right! Imposible namang hindi nya pa alam na nabu-bully sya. Is he stupid or what? Bakit nya hinahayaang mabully? He has to do something."

He has to do something.

True.

He really has to do something.

It's not our business to meddle with him.

Kasalanan nya. Kasalanan nya kung bakit sya nabubully. He's already a college students. He had to do something for himself. The only one who can help him is himself. We can't do anything for him.

Right?

It's okay.

I tell myself that it is okay.

When we entered the Science Council office, I was immediately bombarded by the unsightly face of the Vice-President who's smiling at us while holding a bag of chips.

He offered his foods but I declined. Mahirap na. I wouldn't want anything from him.

Agad na inasikaso naming tatlo ang pago-audit ng expenses for the last activity. Wala na naman ang treasurer to do her damn job. That bitch. Always bothering us with her responsibilities.

It would have been too annoying. Buti na lang at may organized file ako.

It was going smoothly kahit na wala naman talagang naiitulong ang Vice-President maliban sa pagjo-joke para hindi ma-bore si Mandy. Not until Mandy opened the topic about Ahran.

"You didn't do anything?" He asked, while unbelievingly gazing at us.

Mandy immediately come to her defenses. Even saying that the ones bullying him were tough guys and we couldn't do anything for him.

Why?

Why would she say that?

So instead of saying it was none of my business—my real intention, I backed her answer saying na mas makakalala kung madadamay kami.

It was the right thing to say.

What I did earlier was the right thing to do.

Right?

I even want to tell Ahren earlier, "How can you expect someone to do something for you if you can't even do something for yourself?" But since it has nothing to do with me, I didn't.

Why would I?

Afterwards, the Vice-President just shrugged and agreed to us.

I would have liked it better if he go against us though.

After finishing our work, I typed the whole report na kailangang ipasa sa aming Department Head at Dean. Pagkatapos mapirmahan naming tatlo, Mandy bid her goodbye kasi may part-time job pa s'ya.

Wala pang pirma ng President, Treasurer, and P.R.O so it goes to say na hindi pa ako tapos sa trabaho ko. Those people. Mas madali sana ang trabaho kung lahat sila nandito.

While organizing my files, I heard the Vice-President asking, "Bakit wala kayong ginawa?"

It was close to mumbling and maybe he thought I didn't heard it. I didn't answer him and instead said my goodbye. He smiled and even said, "Thank you for the harwork."

It was annoying.

What the hell is his problem?
