Music was blaring from the outside of Andre's house, making it sound slightly muffled. Sam had parked her motorcycle and got off, then picked Cat up to place her on the ground.
"I'm glad you made it to my show. I don't know what I'd do if I hadn't seen you." Cat said and gave Sam a shy smile
"I told you I'd be there, Kitten. Don't get all mopy on me now. Be happy, enjoy the party." Sam said, smiling back.
Cat walked with Sam inside of the house. It smelled of alcohol, sweat, and a mixture of cigarettes with marijuana. Cat scrunched up her nose and buried her face into her jacket. Sam inhaled deeply and sighed dreamily.
"Ah, the sweet dank smell of Mary Jane. I missed you, baby," Sam grinned wide and wafted the scent deeper into her nostrils.
Cat gagged and said through her shirt, "Ugh! How can you even like the smell of that stuff?! It's like burnt rubber wrapped in a dirty diaper."
Sam laughed and sat in a leather sofa, putting her hand under her jawline to support her head.
"Back when I was still having fun, I used to smoke this stuff all the time. I remember when the pigs thought they'd find my stash, but I stole their car and took all the weed from their evidence room. Plus some coke for my mom; just to be nice." Sam explained.
Cat stared at her in shock, her mouth slightly opened. "Oh my god! I can't believe you'd do that! You better not be smoking weed anymore, it's bad and stinky," she said and slapped Sam's arm.
"Haha, okay okay! Chill out. I don't smoke anymore, alright? and I couldn't if I wanted to because I need to drive us home. I can't drive when I'm high." Sam reassured her.
Cat smiled at her, but still was unsure about what she would do at the party. She remembered that Sam told her she was drinking heavily and chain smoking after iCarly was over. Cat wanted to be there to help Sam with her addiction to liquor, but she never knew that Sam smoked marijuana along with it. Andre walked over to them and smiled, making Cat lose her train of thought.
"Hey guys! Glad you could make it. Y'all having fun?" He asked and looked at them expectantly.
"Hell yeah! We just got here and I'm already into it!" Sam yelled and gave a toothy grin. Cat smiled at Andre and nodded.
"Yeah, it's nice. I'm just not sure I like the smell in here," said Cat. Andre coughed and rubbed his throat as if it hurt.
"Oh, sorry about that. Since we're seniors now, I figured we'd have a proper senior party. And this is what senior parties have, so...yeah." He said and let out another small cough. Cat squinted her eyes and looked at him closer. She could smell a trace of alcohol on his breath, but she leaned back and didn't ask.
"Kk, just be careful. This stuff messes up your liver and lungs I heard. And I want healthy innards," Cat said with a serious tone. Sam looked over at her and reached up to pinch her on the cheek.
"You're so cute when you try to be serious."
"I...I am?"
"Yeahhh...it's cute when your lips are pursed like that."
Cat blushed and sat on Sam's lap, taking happily to the compliments she was receiving. Sam wrapped her arms around Cat's stomach and rested her chin on Cat's shoulder; nuzzling her neck lightly.
"Sam, you know that my neck is sensitive. Cut it ouuut," Cat chided and giggled. Sam looked at Cat for a second and grinned before she kissed her neck. Cat let out a gasp and stiffened up.
"Sam, not there. Please..." Cat's eyes were already becoming glossy and she felt herself become slightly excited.
"C'mon...it's a party. Don't be like that, you know you want to do it too." Sam said. She kissed along Cat's jawline and held her sides as she felt Cat's body grind against her thigh, not too noticeably.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" A voice screamed from behind the couch, making Cat scream and jump off of Sam, losing consciousness out of fear.
"Yo, I was just about to...wait, who're you?" Sam asked. The girl was holding onto a frat boy's arm and wore a skimpy silver dress.
"I'm Cat's friend. She should've told you about me." She said.
Sam stared and looked to the side, then back at her, raising her eyebrows to wait for a response.
The girl groaned, "UGGHHH, Trina Vega? Tori's older sister?" She said and stared expectantly.
"Doesn't ring a bell." Sam replied and bent down to pick Cat up off of the floor.
"Fine whatever. When she wakes up, just tell her that I found a boyfriend and thanks for the advice." Trina said and walked away with the tall, silent boy. Sam shrugged and propped Cat up. She turned Cat around so that she was facing her, in a straddling position. An hour later, Sam decided to wake Cat up by kissing her forehead and laying her head on Cat's shoulder.
"Sam...?" Cat yawned and looked down at Sam snuggling into her shoulder.
"Hmmm?" Sam replied, Cat's jacket muffled the sound.
"I wanna go home. I'm sleepy and I don't like the way it smells here."
"Alright, come on. Let's go."
Cat held onto Sam's neck and wrapped her legs tightly around Sam's waist when she stood up. Sam held her in place as they moved past people and out of the door.
Sam put Cat to bed when they got home and kissed her forehead. She looked over at Cat's desk and saw her purple giraffe. She picked it up and placed it in her bed with her. Cat stirred a little, but felt the plushie and snuggled it.
"G'night, kid." Sam said quietly and went to lay in her own bed.
