Chapter 18

Cat went to school the next day on her bike. One of the things she missed was holding onto Sam while she took her to school on her motorcycle. But for now, she had to pedal to the medal if she wanted to get to class on time.

When she arrived, it was obvious to her friends that she rode her bike. Cat was covered in sweat and could barely breathe. "Sorry I'm late," she said through heavy breaths. Mr. Sikowitz didn't hesitate to turn around and make her play a part of a character in the lesson she wasn't in class to learn about.

Tori and Andre kept hinting to her what to do, but she couldn't understand their hints. Jade just smiled and chuckled while Robbie was looking at Cat. He knew something was wrong and wanted to be the one to comfort her.

After class, they all went to lunch and Robbie went to confront Cat. "Uh, hey Cat. You looked pretty sad up there, what's on your mind?" He asked. Cat looked at him and flailed her arms. "Gee I dunno, maybe it's because I came here all sweaty and stinky without getting a chance to rest then I had to act onstage while being out of it and now I feel like chizz!"

Cat covered her mouth after the last word and Robbie looked at her in shock. But he was able to keep his composure and not have to give up his attempt at 'bonding' with her. "Well, maybe we can talk about it after school when you feel a little less...like chizz." He said the word hesitantly, but sheepishly smiled at her. "That's sweet Robbie, you're a good friend. I could use someone to talk to," Said Cat.

He smiled nervously and nodded, "Okay then I'll be there. I rode my bike here too so I guess we can ride together." Robbie was highfiving himself in his head until Cat said, "Okay, sounds great," and got up to sit with Tori and the rest of the gang to talk.

"What'd I tell ya? I know how to talk to the ladies," A sudden deep voice said. Robbie looked down and smiled at his friend that looked oddly similar to a puppet the back at Cat. "You sure do. I owe you one buddy,"
