"Cat, you seem really giddy all of a sudden. It's grossing me out," Jade said in a disgusted tone. "of course silly! Didn't I tell you? Sam came back!" The red haired girl exclaimed. "Good for you, I'd rather see you happy than watch you mope all the time. We missed the old you," Andre smiled at her and she managed to give a genuine smile back for the first time in months.

She looked around to only see Jade and Andre. "Where did Tori Robbie and Beck go?" Cat asked. "As if I know, or care." The goth girl said with a hint of bitterness to her tone. "Don't worry about it. Tori is on a school trip to the Art gallery downtown." Cat gasped. "Without us?That's not right!"

She had never been on a trip without the whole gang together, why would they split up all of a sudden? She looked down and mumbled,"I get why Robbie wouldn't want to see me." Her two friends seemed intrigued and pried an answer from her just with staring in her face questioningly.

"Okay I'll spill the beans! We were hanging out at my apartment and we kissed then Sam came back and kicked him out..." She covered her mouth and looked at them sadly.

"Wow, I would've loved to watch that play out." Jade said with a grin. "I'm sorry Cat, I'm sure he'll come around sooner or later." Andre patted Cat's back and tried to comfort her but she seemed somewhat disheartened. "I hope so."

When school was over, Cat opened the door to her apartment to groan and weakly throw her book bag onto the kitchen table. "What's eatin' you, Bibble butt?" She heard a voice come from the bedroom, but she sat at the table with her head down.

When she responded, it was a muffled grumble. Sam came out from the room in boxers and a tank top, eating whipped cream and bacon. "Fine, don't tell me." She said through a mouth full of whipped cream. Cat looked up and sighed.

"I have to do another stickin' report and I hate it!" She said in irritation. Sam wiped her face off and got serious. "I'll try and help you out with this one. Writing bull crap to expand on a page and get at least a C- is my specialty," she said with pride. "Really? Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!" Cat squealed happily and hugged the blonde tight before being gently pushed away. "No formalities when I'm in my underwear."

They spend a couple hours trying to come up with topics for the project and they occasionally goof off and watch tv. Eventually they finish it before the night is through and Cat decides to go to bed. "Aren't you going to sleep too?" She asked. "I've been sleeping all day. I think I'm going to stay up for a while and watch some more tv." Sam replied.

Cat seemed somewhat saddened but still went off to bed without Sam near. She drifted off to sleep without the bad feeling of pretending to forget her homework and coming up with an excuse to say why she didn't have it.
