"Have a good summer break!" My teacher yells as the bell rings and all the kids spring out of her classroom. Everyone, including me. I have always loved school, but I love summer more. I love my job at the Boardwalk. Everyone loves Funland Boardwalk.
Me and my best friends work there. Me and my best friend, Allison, work the Carousel and my other friends, Scott and Isaac, work at the Ferris Wheel. Jordan Parrish works at the Music Express. We always have the best summers there, but this summer is going to be different. It's our last summer here before our last year of high school, considering we just graduated the eleventh grade today.
Except for Jordan. He graduated high school today. At the end of August, he'll be going to Hawaii for college.
I guess I'm supposed to feel a weigh lifted off of my shoulders, knowing that I'm done with school, but I don't. Now I have to stress out about all the classes and service hours I have to do next year; and don't even get me started on college essays and applications.
But me, Scott, Allison, Parrish and Isaac have a tradition. You see, we officially start working at Funland Boardwalk tomorrow. But... does that stop us from being at our favourite place, even if it's considered breaking and entering and trespassing?
Of course not, we're the Fantastic Foursome.
I hear my phone buzz repeatedly in my pocket, and I sigh. That means they're talking in the group chat, fucking losers.
allison my main bitch <3: who's bringing what?
scott mcSMALL dick: i brought the weed last time and almost got caught
scott mcSMALL dick: so that's not happening again
eye-zach lahottie: that's cause you came home hella stoned instead of staying at lyds
me: exactly, mc-small dick
allison my main bitch <3: u hoes can stay @ my house afterwards

And with that, I change into daisy dukes and a spaghetti strap crop top and start packing for the best night.
