So, it was the day of your best friend's wedding. Yes, (b/f/n) was finally getting married to (b/f/c)
You were the maid of honor. And of course (c/n) was the best man. You and (c/n) have known each other for a long time, but today seemed special.
It was when you were walking down the aisle before the bride came. (C/n) was your partner so you had to take his arm. Before you started walking, he leaned over and whispered "You look quite lovely."
Even though he didn't say much, it still made you blush. You've liked (c/n) for a while now but you were always too afraid to tell him.
Throughout the whole time of the wedding, you and (c/n) were playing a game. Basically you tried to make funny faces at each other and whoever is the first to laugh loses.
When (b/f/c) and (b/f/n) finally got married, it was time for the reception.
Which meant dancing.
The music started out real slow. It was a cute soft song. You watched in admiration as your best friend was twirled around the dance floor by her new husband.
You then felt a light tap on your shoulder. You looked back to see (c/n) standing there with a small smile on his face. He adjusted his bow tie nervously and cleared his throat.
"Care to dance?" He asked you, his voice cracking a bit.
"I'd love to," you said while taking his extended hand. (C/n) smiled at you and walked you to the dance floor. You put your arms around his neck as he placed his around your hips. He seemed a little less nervous now that he was actually dancing with you. For some reason you got a random boost of confidence, and you leaned in to kiss him.
At that exact moment, the song changed to the chorus. "SOOOO BELIEEEEEEEEEEEEVE, THAT MAGIC WOOOORRRRRRRKS!"
"You couldn't have timed that better," (c/n) said as he pulled you into another kiss.
