That was probably one of the best rock concerts I've been to. I never thought AC/DC would sound so good in person.
The only thing that set me on edge was Sean's friends teasing me about me liking him. I knew they would never do anything to embarrass me, but it was kinda obvious when every time Sean would get up to get something, they'd nudge me and point at his butt.
Sean's friends decided to leave right after the concert was over. They told me that they were going to give us some "alone time."
My parents thought that the concert was going to be over at 9, but it ended early, giving Sean and I some time to talk.
About halfway through the conversation, Sean's stomach grumbled loudly.
"Do you want to go to the new pizza place? I heard they have really good pizza." I suggested.
"Sure," he said while holding out his arm for me. "My lady?"
"Why thank you dear sir," I said while taking it and trying not to giggle.
As soon as we stepped in the door, I heard my name being screeched louder than ever.
"ALLLLIIIIEEEEE! OVER HERE!"
I looked to my left and saw Emmy, Zoe and Danae sitting in a corner booth together. Zoe motioned us over to come and sit with them.
"We just got here and ordered drinks not too long ago! You guys can just order drinks when the waiter comes back to order the meal." Danae added.
"So Allie, how do you think you did on (t/n)'s test on Thursday?" Sean asked to break the silence.
My friends pretended to be interested in their menus, but I really knew that they were spying on us.
"I think I did pretty well, but-"
"When it's meant to be, you go kinda crazy! Meant to be you forget your own name!" Zoe shouted at the top of her lungs.
"Zoe!" I said trying to shush her. We were already getting some stares from people around us.
"Sorry about that," I said while turning back to Sean.
"It's ok," he replied with a chuckle.
"Man," I thought. "He has a really cute laugh. SNAP OUT OF IT ALLIE!"
"You know, I always thought-"
"There you see her, sitting there across the way. She don't got a lot to say, but there's something about her. And you don't know why but you're dying to try you wanna kiss the girl."
"You know what!?" Sean yelled. "I'm done, I'm absolutely done!"
My friends sat there with shocked looks on their faces. I don't think they actually intended to make him do this, but apparently they went too far.
"I'm sorry Sean I-" but before I could say anything else, he cupped my face and kissed me.
The kiss felt more magical than anything I had every imagined. When we pulled apart, all three of my friends were grinning at us.
All of a sudden, Sean stood up and pointed at his watch. "I'm really really sorry but I have to leave and get home before my curfew ends!" He paused for a second and scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "M-maybe we could do this again s-sometime?"
"Yeah, I'd like that."
