Ch. 1: Changes

Dan and Phil have been together for a long time. They had always used protection and Phil had always been on top, that's just how they did it. But on their 7th anniversary, they make a change, and it will change their lives forever...

---A few days before---

"Hey Phil..." Dan bites his lip as he walks into the lounge and sits next to his boyfriend. He's spent over an hour in his room just trying to talk himself up to this. He curls him self up in a ball, biting his lip as he waits for Phil's attention.

Phil hears the tone of Dan's voice and sets his lap aside. "What's wrong, Dan?"

"Well... Nothing's wrong exactly, I mean, I don't know, I just.."

"Dan." Phil grabs Dan's hands between his own to calm him. 

"I was just thinking that, well we've been together for almost seven years now, I really don't see us seeing other people, and well maybe for our anniversary we could try going without protection...?" Dan hides his face in his hands.

"Oh..." Phil says. He reaches out to Dan to lift his chin. Dan sees a smiling space appear before him. "I would love that, Dan."

Dan let's out a deep breath he's been holding.

"Actually," Phil says. "I have another thing we might want to try..."

"What is it?" Dan says with nervous excitement.

"I know you prefer to be the submissive, but how would you feel about trying topping...?"

"I didn't even know you wanted that. Of course I'll try it if you think you'll be into it."

"I have bottomed before, Dan." Phil laughs. "Remember, it wasn't me that was a virgin when we met." He smirks.

"Shut up!" He laughs, smacking Phil's arm. "But seriously, clearly I've never topped before, so you're going to have to help me through it."

"Of course," Phil pulls Dan closer into somewhat of a cuddle. "It will be my honor to be your first... again."

They laugh as Phil pulls up his laptop again. They settle into their normal banter as they search for an anime to watch.
