SHAWN'S P.O.V:
I slipped on the pair of black board shorts and a white t-shirt, I then walked to my parents room and softly knocked on the door. I heard a yawn before the golden door knob turned.

"What's wrong darling?" My mum yawned, running her hand through her hair.

"Cameron called me, we've made plans to go to Woodbine today, I was just wondering if you'd prefer me to stick around?" I asked.

My mum smiled at me and patted my shoulder, "We have three months son, go have some fun".

I have my mum a broad smile and quickly embraced her, "I love you mum".

"I love you too Shawn," she replied, her slight British and accent brining me comfort.

I picked up my cell again and dialled Cameron, he picked up within the first three rings.

"Shawn, the legend, the king and the man who leaves the party before it is even started!" Cameron exclaimed.

"Cameron, the YouTube sensation and the guy who finds his tongue rammed down some girls throat within a minute," I replied.

"Shawn. Please. That my friend is called living. I'll swing past and bring you down to Woodbine, I wouldn't mind saying hello to our Karen," Cameron informed.

"Alright Cameron, see you in a bit," I said, slipping my phone back into my board shorts.

AVERY'S P.O.V:
"Avery! Avery! Avery! Wake up!"

"I'm up," I groaned, one of my eyes peeking to see who was the owner of the persistent yapping. Kayleigh stooped over me, giving me the look which Isla Fisher usually received.

"Why are you here so early?" I groaned, wriggling my way under my soft duvet.

"Early? Early! It is eleven Avery! You literally have less than half an hour to get ready. Are you forgetting that today is my date?" Kayleigh blubbered.

"Relax Kayleigh, I'll be down in fifteen," I assured her.

She took a minute or two to decide whether my statement was possible, finally she retreated downstairs leaving me to get ready. I rummaged around my draws, searching for a sign of a swimsuit. My hand stumbled upon a pale blue strap, digging deeper into the chaotic piles I managed to find matching bottoms. I slipped the bikini on, abandoning my simple pajamas. I continued to search around for a beach wrap and shorts, I heard a slight tap on my door.

"Come in," I called.

Piper hopped into the room, her highlighter shining brighter than the sun. She wore a similar style swimsuit to my own, hers a vibrant pink. Piper flashed me her most sisterly smile.

"Avery, you look absolutely smoking in that bikini, I mean the colour is kind of dull though," Piper smiled.

I sighed, "What do I owe the pleasure of having the Piper Hunter's company?"

"Why do you talk so weird? Anyhow, I was possibly wondering if I could come to Woodbine with you and Kayleigh," she asked.

"Piper, you can't."

"Who says she can't?" Kayleigh chirped, her head peeking through door.

Piper gave Kayleigh a smile I've never received, at the same time managing to toss me a pair of denim shorts and a patterned wrap.

"Wear this, it will compliment your eyes," she instructed.

Kayleigh gave a mutter of approval and whisked Piper out of the room, giving me my last chance at privacy for the day. Buttoning the shorts, I tossed my head upside down and pulled my black locks into a slightly messy bun. I slipped my quartz necklace on, before grabbing my already prepared beach bag.

"Avery, honey, wait a minute," Mum yelled.

She quickly rushed to the stairwell and gave me a tight hug.

"Just wanted to let you know to have a good day and be sun safe," she said.

I grinned at my mother, making a quick show of having the sun lotion.

"Wait, I forgot to tell you that your father might need your help to close up again tonight. He let Jane and Annie go last night," Mum frowned.

"Why? They were doing a great job," I questioned.

"He's not been making enough income," Mum stated, her frown growing longer.

"It's alright mum, I'll be there to help this Summer," I said.

"You're a good girl Avery, if only our Piper took after you! Now go have a some fun!" Mum urged.

I quickly pecked at her cheek before racing down the stairs. Kayleigh and Piper stood at the door waiting impatiently. Giving them an apologetic smile I beckoned towards the door.

"Shall we?" I declared.

"We shall," Kayleigh laughed.

Piper opened the door and sprinted to the ute.

"I still can't believe I'm spending a whole day with Cameron Dallas!" she squealed.

"Lay off Cameron," Kayleigh chuckled.

We all slid into the ute, our thighs pressed up against each other. I reversed from our suburban home and reached the road that led to Woodbine.

SHAWN'S P.O.V:
Cameron twisted the volume button on his radio, Treat You Better erupting from his speakers. He turned to me with a look of satisfaction as he sang word for word.

"Do you miss performing yet?" he asked.

"I mean it's only been a few days Cam, but you have no idea what it feels like. I'm up there and everything I do up there is impacting someone. It's crazy how much power on people we have."

"It's pretty amazing what we can do isn't it?" He grinned.

Cameron pulled a right turn, making my stomach tighten. I stared out at Toronto, lingering on the sites I adore. We cruised on the long road that lead to Woodbine.

I turned to face Cameron, "What's this girls name again? I can't believe you're actually making an effort to talk to her."

Cameron let one hand off the wheel and flashed me the bird.

"Her name is Kayleigh, she's different from the rest of them Shawn. Something about her makes me want to come back for more."

I gave Cameron a warm smile and patted his back gently, "Aw, Cameron has a heart!"

He whacked my head playfully, before returning to the steering wheel. Within a few minutes we had reached Woodbine Beach. We jumped out of Cameron's hired vehicle and we were greeted by the light summer breeze that inhabited Woodbine. Cameron stared down the stretch of sand staring for his most recent conquest.

"I can't see her, I'm going to go give her a ring. Meet you down there," he said.

I gave him a quick nod and stared down at the stretch of gold. Walking down the wooden plank path, I fumbled for my phone, opening Instagram. I shook my head watching the hundreds of comments appearing on my feed. I swiped through some of my friends photos when I was interrupted by a low grunt.

"Shawn, this is Kayleigh and her friend Avery, as  well as her little sister Piper," Cameron declared.

My head snapped up at the mention of Avery and I found myself meeting a pair of jade eyes. She nervously beamed at me. Muffin Girl was here in the flesh.
