jaebum felt somewhat nervous going to school the next day. not because of school in particular, but because of some boy.

not just some boy, as a matter of fact. a boy named choi youngjae.

at first jaebum felt like youngjae didn't like him much and honestly he couldn't blame him.

jaebum didn't like the 'cool kids' in school who thought they were better than anyone else either, even if he was one of them. he wasn't happy about his reputation but he figured it would be better than being an outcast.

and his friends, even though they could be assholes at times, were still real friends.

but now, jaebum was sure they had developed some kind of friendship, even if it was still in the beginning.

thinking about youngjae made the older feel weird but he shrugged it off as he entered school.

jaebum approached his friends who were in the middle of a conversation.

"jaebummie, we were just talking about you!" jinyoung smiled as jackson nodded approvingly.

"first of all, stop calling me that, and second of all, what were you talking about?"

"youngjae's dad is coming to our game this weekend!" jackson and jinyoung both seemed really excited about the news.

at first jaebum didn't get why they were telling him that but then it hit him.

the dare. jaebum completely forgot about the stupid dare his friends made him do.

fuck.

"why the face? that's good news! you should take the next step with youngjae now, you know, like kiss him or stuff."

jinyoung did not look like he'd just told jaebum to kiss a boy, he looked rather calm and serious about this.

"w-what? no! you kiss him if you want to!" jaebum mentally cursed for being so nervous about this.

he liked youngjae, yes, but did he want to kiss him? absolutely not.

... right?
