as youngjae woke up the next morning, he had a hard time breathing properly. partly because of last night, all the crying and anxiety on top of being intoxicated. partly, because he was sharing a bed with his three best friends.

they all had insisted to stay last night, not only at youngjae's, but also in his bed. they had agreed that their shared best friend needed a long cheering up and cuddle session, that ended up in an uncomfortable sleeping position for all of them, plus occasional snores coming from bambam.

youngjae really loved his friends unconditionally and he couldn't wish for anything more, but being hungover and trying to breathe normally with yugyeom's muscly (meaning, heavy) leg on top of his chest was starting to get too much for the boy.
he tickled the bottom of yugyeom's foot, causing a catastrophe as the youngest started kicking around himself and giggling half asleep, hitting mark's forehead and waking him up, too.

the oldest was about to snap but quickly remembered all of last night and didn't want to cause a scene.

all four were awake now, no one knew what to say. should they ask youngjae how he was doing? pretend like nothing happened? suggest to beat up jaebum and his friends, even though they would probably end up in hospital?

youngjae decided to end the silence, because he knew his friends were probably lost for words. „jinyoung texted me."

„what?" mark asked angrily, which caught yugyeom and bambam's attention. „what did he want?"

„he wants to meet me", youngjae explained, „he said it's important."
he knew what mark would say. the older would get angry, probably insult jinyoung, and tell youngjae not to go, like it's his decision to make.

but youngjae had hope. he knew that if jinyoung wanted to talk to him, it really was important and would probably explain a lot. „i'll go."

„you- really?", yugyeom asked carefully, noticing the angry glare in mark's bruised face.

youngjae simply nodded because he wasn't in the mood to discuss anything and his friends accepted his decision.
