CHAPTER 2-I LOVE YOU, BUT. . .

this chapter is a little bit short. and also forgive me for the wrong grammar. i'm not perfect. haha.

“So, how are you? Why did you come back here? “I asked Tyler while waiting at the ticket line.

He pouted like a kid. “Don’t you want me to come back?”

“I didn’t mean it like that! “

“kidding. I came back for you.” Then he winked at me. EWW.

“Seriously? I asked him changing my face into a straight one. I don’t really know when he’s going to be serious.”

“Well, I don’t like my school in Miami anymore. I mean, I never really liked it. I kept on having detentions.”

“For attention?”

“No, of course not. I don’t need that. I’m famous in my old school.” He smirked. I raised my eyebrow at him. Then he finally said, “I told you. I don’t like my school. I hated it.”

“Oh. Okay.” We didn’t talk to each other for a few minutes. Then he broke the silence.

“What sports are you into?”

“I can play volleyball. You?” I asked even though I’m already expecting that he’s in either basketball, football, or whatever. Well, his body says it.

“Soccer. Forward. Any other activities that you do?“

“I dance and my sister taught me how to play a guitar since she’s in a band.”

“ You know what? I’m into talented girls.” He said smiling at me.

“You mean, my sister?”

“ I mean, you. “ he smiled seductively. I rolled my eyes and muttered, “ yeah. You can say that. Whatever.”

“What?”

“Nothing!” I fake a smile and paid for my ticket but just then he pushed my money back to me.

“Nah. It’s my treat.”

“Uh, thanks.”

“No problem, hon.” Then he winked at me.

“Ha-ha. “ I said irritated but he just laughed as he turned around and walked inside the movie house. We chose a little bit romantic movie.

“Aren’t you too manly for this kind of movie? Or… are you….?” I asked while grinning and raised my eyebrow.

“What?! Hey I’m not gay. They said it was a good movie. Trying wouldn’t hurt. “

“Oh yeah? Sure. But if you are, don’t hesitate to share it to me. I won’t tell your parents. I promise.” I slightly whispered to him and he frowned. I laughed at his reaction and slap him on his back.

“Can’t you be nicer to me? Is that how you treat your childhood friend?”

“No. Only to you.” I showed out my tongue at him to tease him.

“Hey, that hurts. “He frowned but then he still laughed about it.

We movie ended and he offered to drive home. I let him to because I’m really tired and sleepy and if I let him, I can sleep in the car.

Few minutes later……

“Wake up, sleeping beauty. We’re here.”

I smiled while my eyes are still closed. Ahh, it’s so good to hear that. Hahaha. Then I opened my eyes to see who it is. I was startled to see Ty was leaning to me, smiling. Face to face. I gasped and pushed him away.

“What are you doing? Where are we?” I asked, still shocked.

He chuckled, “I’m waking up sleeping beauty from her deep sleep cause we’re already here.”

I looked outside and I saw that our car was already parked in front of our houses. Then I looked at Ty. “So that includes the kiss, huh?” I said as I raised my eyebrow.

“Oh, I didn’t think of that. But now that you have mentioned it, I can do it in case you’re still sleepy.” He said while puckering his lips.

Eww. That’s the least thing I want to do.

“ Shut up! Freak. Well thanks for the ride anyway.” Then we got off the car and he walked with me towards our main door.

“Got to go. Thanks Ty.”

“Anytime. But don’t I get a goodnight kiss?” he said.

“Or maybe you want this?” I showed to him my hand with close fist.

“Okay! Goodnight to you too, Vanessa! Sweet dreams!” He said as he run towards to their house. Silly boy. I shook my head and opened the door then locked it. I went to my room and changed into my pajamas and went to bed. Everyone is asleep now and I also have too. I turned off the lights and my lampshade and thought of what happened today. Not bad. I think. Then I fell asleep.
