Over the next several days Leo could not get Blake off of his mind no matter what he did. He wasn't even sure why he was thinking about his friend. It just seemed to him that every little thing he did somehow reminded him of the flame boy.

It bothered Leo that he couldn't explain why he was thinking about him as much as he was. Leo was like Gumball in many ways, including academically. He wanted to know why something worked a certain way and why. The fact that he couldn't figure this out was killing him.

Blake often thought of the vampire when he was bored and had nothing better to do. Or just when he wanted to see him. Either way, Blake had vampire on the brain. And it wasn't just because Leo was half vampire. Even if he wasn't Blake would still want to be his friend. He would just have to be far more careful not to burn him.

Leo signed, putting his pillow over his face. The thought of Blake kept him from sleeping. He couldn't help it. No matter how hard he tried the flame boy seemed to be engraved in his thoughts.

The vampire groaned, rolling out of bed and onto the floor. He rolled up in a blanket and sighed. For whatever reason his friend would simply not leave his mind.

Gumball could hear his son's thoughts of frustration over the flame boy and found it interesting. Marshall could hear as well, wondering why Leo was thinking about this boy so frequently. His parents walked up to their son's room and knocked.

"Yes?" Leo asked, sitting up from the floor.

"Leo, we need to have a chat." Gumball stated, opening the door.

The teenager sighed, hating when his parents wanted to talk to him, most likely about personal matters.

"What is it about?" He groaned, sitting on the edge of his bed.

"We both can hear that you're thinking of your friend Blake. Why is that frustrating you?" Marshall explained, trying to see if their son would tell the truth or would lie about his thoughts.

Leo was smart of course, knowing that his parents would know if he was lying.

"I just haven't seen him in a few days, that's all... We're close..." The teen replied, keeping a straight face during the discussion.

"How close?" Gumball asked, his opinion on Blake hanging in the balance because of his protective nature.

"We're just friends."

Gumball now relaxed a bit, but not enough to actually notice. He was very protective and did not want his son to be hurt by someone who was just looking for a good time. He would not allow that to happen.

"We've never met Blake, have we Leo?" Marshall questioned, already knowing the answer.

"No... He lives outside the kingdom, passed the forest... Plus I don't want you two to attack him with all your questions." Leo huffed out, crossing his arms.

His parents could tell that the subject was making him quite agitated. They decided to let their son relax for a while and continue the conversation at a later time. Although both of them already had a pretty good idea of where this was going.
