Third person

The two boys broke the hug after a moment. Blake was always conscious about burning his friend. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt his friend.

"We should go see your parents now..." Leo suggested, not wanting the other to get in trouble because of his parents.

Blake nodded and lead the way through the forest. They still had some walking to do if they wanted to reach the treehouse where the flame boy lived.

Leo was actually quite excited. He had never met Blake's parents before. If he were remembering correctly, he couldn't recall meeting anyone's parents. Perhaps that was why he was so excited. But Leo's excitement was mixed with a small amount of anxiety. Since this was the first time meeting his best friend's parents he wanted to make a good impression.

The two reached the treehouse a few minutes after that. Blake gestured for Leo to wait outside for a few moments before entering his home. He didn't know how his parents would react to him being gone for so long.

When he entered he only saw one of his fathers: Flame King. He could sense the heat radiating off of his father and knew that this wasn't good.

"Do you have any idea how much we've worried about you? You've been gone for hours!" He snapped, his flames growing higher along with his anger.

"I'm sorry... My friend and I fell asleep in the woods by the pond... He couldn't be in sunlight so I had to take him home... Then we just explored the area for a bit..." Blake explained, trying to ease some of his father's fury.

"Your father went out looking for you hours ago! Now he doesn't know you're here and I don't know when he'll be home!"

The flame boy knew that his father was angry with him and that he was most definitely in trouble. This had never happened before. Blake had always followed his parents rules so this was the first real time he had gotten in trouble.

"I said I was sorry... What else can I say? I can't reverse time... I just didn't want my friend to die..." The teenager said softly, gazing down at the floor.

His father sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. He couldn't stay mad at his son for his good intentions.

"Is your friend here?" He asked, sure that he already knew the answer.

Blake nodded and his father gestured to bring him inside. The teenager opened the door and allowed Leo to come inside. Only then could he close his umbrella and give a proper greeting.

Flame King was surprised at first by Leo's mannors, but then his surprise faded when he recognized him as the son of the Candy King. Perhaps his son's punishment would be lessened since his friend could have died in the sun.

It was only a matter of time before Finn came home. They could all talk more then.
