Megan's POV

I've been calling Jayden for like five days straight. She hasn't answered once. I had a missed call from her but when I called back it said I had an non working number. Now every time I call I get that same message. I went to school but barley paid any attention. I was too caught up in this family secret. It's weird for Jayden to not call me back. I tried texting Drew but he didn't answer. I called Drew today and it went to voicemail. I'm getting sick of this.

My car was parked uptown across from the bank. I was about to deposit my paycheck. That's when I had a thought. I could just fly back out to talk to Jayden. The plane tickets aren't that much with my rollback miles. I mean I'll use my money and it'll just be for the weekend. No one will know I'm gone since I've been staying with Garret's girlfriend, because I can't stand to be in my own house.

I rolled out some money and drove to the airport on impulse. The whole flight I thought about how crazy I was being. This is insane but its too late now. When I landed I got my phone out and seen Drew had called me back. He'd left a voicemail too. I called and listened.

"Hey Megan I seen that you called and I'm not avoiding you. It's just, I've been busy. Jayden's in the hospital. I don't know if anyone called and told you but she's not even conscious right now. Call me back whenever and we can talk. Bye." Then he hung up.

Jayden's in the hospital? What happened! She better be okay! I flew through the airport and found a place that was quiet enough to make a phone call. I dialed Drew and he answered on the third ring.

"Hey Megan." He said sounding sad.

"Drew I'm at the airport and I'm going to take a cab from here to the hospital. Which one is she in?" I asked.

    "Wait you're here?" He asked.

"Yeah, I needed to talk to Jayden. I didn't know she was hurt. What happened?" I asked leaning against the wall.

"I'll come get you. I'm only about ten minutes from the airport and I was heading to see Wes anyway. We can talk on the way. Meet me in parking lot B." he said.

"Okay see ya in a few." I hung up and started walking. I found lot B and began pacing then I sat out front on the curb near the parking lot until I saw Drew's car. He pulled up and I got in.

    "No bags?" He asked.

"This was kind of a spur of the moment trip. I jumped the gun I guess." I said realizing just how crazy this whole thing was. "Anyway what happened to Jayden?"

"She got in a fight with Hanna, a girl Wes used to date, and they fell into the ocean. She about drowned, but she's alive. They had her on life support. She's okay but she hasn't woken up yet. The doctor seems to think everything's okay thought." He said.

    "She's okay?" I was shocked.

"Yeah that what they say." He said. "Wes knows more than me because he never leaves."

"That's the sweetest thing I've ever heard." I said in awe. "How's he doing?"

"He blames himself for leaving her alone." He shrugged. "If you didn't know Jay was in the hospital then why did you fly out?"

"Um, I need to tell her something, and I need to do it in person." I shrugged as he pulled into the hospital lot.

We went inside silently and he led the way to the elevator. We got off on the critical care unit and he signed us in and handed me a visitor badge. "Rooms right there. Tell Wes I'll be back in a few. I'm going to get some food for him or he won't eat." Drew said and then he left me.
