Chapter 31

Megan's POV

The boys made it through the battle rounds and they couldn't be more stoked! Their coach is Simon. They almost messed it up but they still made it through and passed week one of the live shows. Haley and Keaton walk around like nothing even happened. They're basically bast friends. Haley hangs out with me and Drew a lot since we aren't really dating and her sisters always all lovey dovey with Wes. I don't mind though because I love Hal.

"Is anyone else here?" Haley yelled as she came through the door.

"Just me!" I yelled from my room.

"Is Jay with Wes?" She asked.

"No she's at dance working on choreography for week two." I said.

"Are you going to the show later?" She asked coming in and flopping on my bed.

"Yeah, but if you don't wan to I'll stay home." I smiled.

"No I want to go." She shook her head.

"Then it's stettled." I said. "Now help me pick an outfit."

We decided on a tight knee length purple dress, and sparkly silver shoes. We'd just sat down to watch tv when the front door opened then closed. Jayden rushed into the room and dropped her stuff. She looked like she'd been through hell.

"What happened to you?" I asked.

"The fucking elevators still broke and I had a really hard practice so I'm exhausted!" She complained.

"Oh I thought maybe you got mugged or gang raped." Hal laughed looking over Jayden's clothes.

"Not funny." She said.

"After the show tonight are you going to the after party?" I asked.

She fiddled with her bracelets. "No, Wes is taking me to dinner."

"What if someone sees you guys?" Haley asked.

"I'll say we're friends." Jay shrugged. "Now excuse me while I take a shower."

Jayden's POV

The boys got done and walked off stage. When the cameraman signaled that we were out I hurried off stage making sure no one noticed me. I snuck my way through the crowd of people hanging around and made it to the boys by the back door. Wes wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead.

"How'd we do?" He smiled.

"You guys sounded amazing!" I hugged him tightly.

"Ew you're all sweaty." He laughed.

"So are you!" I said stepping back.

"Did Megan and Haley come?" Drew asked.

I nodded and Keaton got all excited, but a reporter walked up and smiled. She asked to have a minute and I walked away to wanting to be questioned about why I was with them. I went and grabbed a water then went back to set to finish dancing for the last act.

"Come on this way." Wes said tugging me by the arm down the street.

I giggled as we hurried along not wanting to be noticed. I was in a black dress that almost hit my knees and a jacket with some heels. We had gotten dinner and now he can't remember where we parked. "Wes I swear we've already been this way."

"No I think I remember that tree." He said.

"All the trees look the same!" I laughed. "Not to complain but my feet hurt."
