Chapter 22

Haley's POV

    It's been a few days and Jayden's back in school. Her works mostly caught up. She seems to be completely fine all things considered. Dad hasn't called or showed up at home in days. Not hat I care considering he's a huge fake. I can't believe this!

    Yesterday I walked home from the beach after surfing with Drew and Keaton to find my sister and Wes covered head to toe in brownie batter and making out. They said they'd started to make brownies then Wes flicked batter at Jay and it only escalated from there. It's like I live with a toddler, minus the making out with her boyfriend part. It's kinda funny though, because they both get all red faced and giggle when someone catches them.

    Keaton told me today that the boys and him are going to audition for the Xfactor this coming season. He asked me not to tell Jayden because Wes wants to do it. I'm excited for them I guess. I'm just worried I won't get to spend time with my boyfriend as much.

    "Hey Hal can we talk?" Jayden asked me after school on the ride home.

    "You're talking now." I sighed.

    "I mean about us being only half sisters." She said.

    "Sure. Why not." I put my window down letting the wind blow my hair around my face.

    "It doesn't change anything you know. I still love you just as much as if you were really my whole sister." She said. "Also I wanted to tell you, I'm getting an apartment in LA. I want you to come with me! I'll sign the lease the day after my birthday and I already put down a deposit. Im going to just finish school online. Just don't tell Wes I want to tell him myself."

    "That's great Jay and I love you to, but I'm not leaving Huntington I don't think. I like it and LA is huge. Don't worry I won't say anything to Wes though." I said. Sure is a lot of secrets in that relationship right now.

    "Please just think about coming with me?" She asked pulling up to our house.

    "Yeah I'll think about it." I said getting out and heading directly to the boys house. No way I was giving up any time I had with Keaton before they go to the Xfactor. Maybe I should goto LA with my sister. At least I'd be closer to Keaton and I wouldn't be all alone.

Jayden's POV

    I've been home from the hospital about a week now and today's my birthday. I was in my room getting ready for the trip to Disneyland with my favorite group of people. Haley and I had a few long talks out our sisterly love and how nothing is changing now that we know we're only half sisters. Wes was seriously the best thing that's ever happened to me. This past week has been amazing with him. Not to mention the week he spent with me in the hospital.

    "Happy Birthday!" Hal screamed bursting into my room.

    "Thanks." I giggled as she slammed into me hugging me.

    She was dressed in a t-shirt I'm pretty sure is Keaton's and some shorts with a drawstring bag. "Are you almost ready? Dad will be home soon and I want to be gone before he gets here."

    I looked down at my plain teal tank top and cutoff jean shorts. I had in big diamond earrings Megan had sent me for my birthday. "Yeah I'm just going to put on mascara then I'll be ready. Get my flops for me?" I asked pointing to my hideous closet.

    She nodded and grabbed them from inside the black hole of a closet. Hal laid them on the ground and sprayed me with some perfume as I did my make up real fast. "Alright now lets go!" She rushed me down the steps.

    I grabbed my cross body purse and walked out the door and across the lawn. Hal rushed ahead of me and went inside the boys house barely knocking. I followed behind her and bumped into Drew.
