Jayden's POV
I signed my lease papers today and Wes went with me to see the apartment. It came furnished so it already had most of the stuff I need. We walked around the apartment looking in each room.
"Look at this view!" I said looking out at the cityscape.
"It's gorgeous." Wes said.
I looked and his eyes were on me instead of the window. "Thank you." I smiled as I felt myself blush. He still makes me feel butterflies all the time.
"I think this place suites you." He said wrapping his arms around my waits and pulling me against him.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Yeah." He smiled lowering his lips to mine.
I kissed him softly then pulled back. "Does it bother you that we haven't had sex?" I asked.
"Why would you ask that?" He laughed taking a step away from me and leaning on the wall.
"Just answer me." I said.
"No it doesn't bother me. I know I mess around sometimes but if you want to wait forever that's fine. I love you." He said.
"Well I just was thinking about Drew yesterday, and I panicked." I sighed. "I love you too."
"Don't worry about Drew." He laughed running his fingers through his hair. "He just likes making things awkward."
I sighed. "I mean he's right though." If you look at all my relationships in high school I slept with guys pretty fast, but not Wes. Why is that I wonder? "Lets do it. Right here. Right now." I wiggled my eyebrows at him.
Wes looked like he considered it for a second then laughed. "No, because that would be very special."
"Screw special." I laughed. "Come here."
His eye widened and he smiled. Wes pushed off the wall and took two slow steps toward me. His eyes dropped and met mine. "Babe I'm not having sex with you like this." He kissed my nose and grabbed my hands in his. "How about we have dinner tonight? Just you and me."
"Okay. Where are you going to take me?" I smiled swinging our hands.
"I was thinking maybe I'd actually cook for you. Drew's hanging out with Tyler tonight and Keaton's taking Haley laser bowling. It'll be fun." He said.
"Sounds good. Lets go home." I said taking one last glance around my apartment. "Will you guys help me and Hal move in tomorrow?"
"We sure will." He smiled.
We got home around six and we went into the boys' house. Wes went to the kitchen and grabbed some stuff from the fridge. He started cooking and it actually smelled really good. I remember the time he cooked with me at my house and barely knew what a whisk was. He made some kind of spaghetti with apples in it. Once it was done we sat at the table and ate.
"This is actually delicious." I said.
"Yeah, Drew makes it all the time." He told me.
After we ate he put in Perks of Being a Wallflower since I'd never seen it. He said that was a crime. So we watched the movie and toward the end I felt Wes playing with my hair. I loved when he did this. I turned my head to the side a little as he ran his fingers through.
"The movies over." He said. "Soo how'd you like it?"
"I actually loved it." I smiled.
