**ALYSSA'S POV**

Taylor got hit by a car.

My mouth dropped open and I immediately felt the tears stream down my cheeks.

"Taylor!" I cried. I ran over to his side and held his hand. "Please wake up." I sobbed. I felt his wrist. He still had a pulse. A woman who looked familiar came up to me.

"Oh my god. Gabby! Please call 991!" I yelled to her. She dialed 911 and somebody picked up. After about two minutes of talking, she hung up.

Very quickly, the road was closed at both ends and an ambulance came. They slowly moved Taylor onto the stretcher and put him in the vehicle.

"Can I please come?" I asked, warm tears still streaming out of my eyes. The tall man nodded and opened up the back door for me to get in. I grabbed Taylor's hand and held it firmly in mine.

"Listen Taylor. If you can hear me, please show me." I whispered. After about 30 seconds I gave up, until his thumb slowly caressed my hand that was holding his. I cried even more. I took my hand out of his and put my head into my hands and sobbed.

"Taylor." I sobbed. "This is all my fault. If I would have just went across the road we wouldn't be here."

I nurse came and sat down next to me. She put her hand on my back, causing me to look up at her. She had a sad smile on her face.

"We will help Your friend here as much as possible, sweetie." She said. I nodded and gave her a tight hug.

"Thank you." Was all I could croak out.

I needed to call the boys. I decided I would call Hayes. I dialed his number and it started to ring. After about 3 rings an angelic voice filled the phone.

"Hey Lys, what's up?" He said happily.

"H-Hayes. Something terrible has happened." I cried, looking at Taylor's lifeless body.

"Baby what's wrong?" He asked, worry in his voice.

"Put me on speaker." I said.

"Okay. You are on speaker with the boys and I." Hayes said and everyone said hi.

"Okay guys, Taylor got hit by a car on the way to subway." I said. I started to cry even harder into the phone, wishing that the boys were here right now so I could just cuddle into their arms.

"W-what?" Hayes asked in disbelief. I couldn't handle it any longer. I handed the phone to the nurse and cried, loud and hard.

"Sir, your friend, Taylor-" she looked over at me for his last name.

"Caniff." I choked out.

"Caniff. Is on his way to Orlando hospital. He had gotten hit pretty hard by a car. We have A girl with us-" she started.

"Alyssa." Hayes said through the phone.

"We have Alyssa with us in the ambulance. We are going to try our hardest to get your friend back to normal." She finished. They ended their conversation about thirty seconds later.

"They are on their way to the hospital. They should be there about a half an hour after us." She said. I nodded and wiped away some of my tears. "Is this your boyfriend?" She asked. I shook my head.

"One of my best friends." I gave her a light smile. "You just talked to my boyfriend on the phone." I sniffled.

The woman looked out the window.
"We're here." She said as the car stopped. The back door swung open and a man took my hand and helped me out.
