Chapter Six: Ready, Aim and Fire!!

MAZRIETH'S POV

I finally have a plan to gain success in this training... Right now, I've running all the way and keeping my eye focused on the Nadder. Still, I have four arrows left... If I make 'one' mistake, this might be over for me...

As I continue to run and avoid its attention, The Deadly Nadder continued fire its blast to Camicazi and the others, but Camicazi concentrates to shoot the Nadder but miserably, failed.

While running, I just saw Jaden Haddock hiding... I wonder what he's up to?

Tsk! Forget it... I only have four shots and that's the thing I need to worry about... One mistakes and over for me...

Running through the edge of every wall around me, I stopped and resting for bit...and in the glimpse of the moment, the Deadly Nadder are climbing over the wall over five meters away from my position.

My body are now back to work... So I stand up and start to run over... 

But all the sudden...

Ivory, Silver and Camicazi are both fired directly but they did missed it... 'Haha! What a bad luck.'

Running towards it, I've started to pick one of my arrows and aimed... SPLASH!! Until, I surprising shocked when someone's arrow managed to hit Nadder's body... I looked away and that arrow was coming from... 

"Raven Armstrong got one hit from a Nadder, and he has four arrows left..."

'Wo-- Wow...' Uh.. No, no, no...

I shooked my head continued running for my plan to fire... It might be my chance but.. I have to deal with this... FAST!!

Somehow, I stopped and... "Hey?! Over here!!" I yelled at the dragon. The Nadder has finally caught my attention and right after, I ran and the Nadder followed me.

As the dragon followed me, I find myself seeing Jaden, Ivory, Camicazi, Silver or even Raven followed its dragon... Thinking that this might be 'their' chances to gain points.. Oh great...

"This plan is really dumb..."

I end up in this situation... As I run, Jaden and Raven tries to aim its arrow to the target... In order to gain my chance of winning...

"Don't try to get other way, babe!!" Jaden aimed to the Nadder's.

Everyone now really 'thanked' me for distract it, huh?! To gain it, I must...

"I have no choice!!" I run as fast as I could and going to other direction, follows then 'the zigzag'...

"Hey, don't go in the other way!!" Jaden shouted at me as I run through in the other way.

Running in zigzag looks like giving me an effect... As I continued, I hide myself then resting for just a seconds...letting a dragon wandered around... Until, the moment...

'Hyah!!'

I charged towards the Deadly Nadder...and its getting in my attention...

As the dragon tries to shoot its blast... Lighten, and glows... BOOM!! 

I jumped and managed to dodge its blast...and afterwards... It looks like this is my backfire this time... I aim my bow with an arrow on it...and then...

PHOW!! SPLASH!!

It hits!! My first arrow finally hits the Deadly Nadder...

Making Caitlin announced, "Impressive... Mazrieth Hunter got its first shot... Looks like all scores tied..."

As I overjoyed a 'bit' for getting the first points, the Nadder was very more enormous and angry at me... In all sudden, the Nadder's tailed spikes appeared, shooting at me...but I did avoid it all..

However, after I dodged it, the Nadder was full of rage and starts to fire any direction...letting myself hiding...but since the Nadder found me hiding over at the wall... 

"Holy Mother of Thor!!" I shouted.

The Deadly Nadder fires its blast at me...well, managed to dodge it... But as it continued chasing me, I had no choice but jumped myself, making me climbing on the wall...tries to find my balance.. Although, the Deadly Nadder still followed me... So I run and hopped on the wall and then... I lost my balance... 

I fall down from the wall and ended getting bumped by Raven Armstrong...

'Ouch!'

"Argh! My head hurts... Are you okay, Mazrieth??" Raven asked.

"I....." I'm starting to moved my body and standing up... But as I stand up... The Deadly Nadder shake its head and run towards us... As it going to our position, I grab my bow and arrow...as this dragon is near too close... (Ugh!! But still, my head very kinda hurt...)

'PHOW!! SPLASH!!'

I hit it again...and now I have two arrows left... Then, I saw Ivory and others approached the Nadder and their on the way to fire it..

Afterwards, I turned back and run towards the Nadder...and right now, I jumped and aim the Deadly Nadder's head... As it follows, the Nadder turned face and looked at me...tries to fire the blast from its mouth...

And then, I'd using my two arrows and start aiming the Nadder...

"You're mine!!" 

'PHOW!!'

The two arrows are now flowing in the air to hit to its target...as the soon nearly sparks its fire...

'SPLASH!!'

The arrows I've shoot, is timely hit directly to its eyes and the bow that I used, I let it hit into the face for the purpose of dodging from the death blast...making me fall to the ground... As I fall, Caitlin and the others end up shocked of what Mazrieth doing and impressed...except Ivory...

Finally, the dragon scared and stayed away from me as it shook its head and going off... Making me gain three points...

Until the minutes later, Caitlin goes inside at the arena and congratulates, "Well done, Mazrieth..."

It follows then Ivory starts to frustrated herself from losing it... But, Camicazi congratulate me... Unlike Ivory, the others ended up being a friend with me...

'Is that how you expressed your losing to me?'

Moments then, Caitlin finally declares me as a first runner up for winning in this training and now...leaving; head home for rest... As it now...it's over...

This second training is finally over... For now...
