Chapter Forty-Two: Mazrieth and Flare vs. The Red Death

[A/N: I actually planned to finish this prequel before the end of April.. So I will try my best to finish this all as soon as possible... Because on June 2018, I will begin to post my sequel, Dragons: The Rider's Fate.. BTW, don't mind on how I wrote wattpad.. :) Just enjoy reading XD]

(Mazrieth's POV)

"Guys?", as I fly over to their side, I asked them a question about that dragon. "Guys, can you tell me what this is?" To be honest, I felt scared facing this one because this is my first time to see one for real... I've never seen this big before... 

Camicazi went analyzing as she stares over while holding onto the Thunderdrum. "For the love of Thor? Mazrieth? This is the dragon we saw before...", she answered. "This is the Red Death.. A Stoker Class.."

Red Death? Wait....is that the dragon that I saw before...who dares to eat us? 

"Oh right.. That dragon, huh?", Ivory swallowed her saliva. "That's the dragon who dares to eat us.." 

"Way too big to fight this one, Mazrieth!", Jaden hissed as he holds onto the Triple Stryke. "Tell me a way to defeat this thing!" 

"To defeat?", Ivory blanked. "I have no idea!" 

I looked upon the two until I turned my head at Camicazi. "Camicazi.. Tell me about that dragon...", I ordered. 

And then, Camicazi answered, "Heavily armored skull and tail made for bashing and crushing! Steer clear of both! Small eyes, large nostrils! Relies on hearing and smell!"

"Got it..", I nodded. "Everyone.. I want you to do everything you can to distract this dragon away from them..and Raven...", I paused as I exhaled. "You and Ivory will handle the evacuation.. Help the injured people immediately! We don't want them to get killed right now!" 

"Aye!", Raven said.

"But make sure be careful out there, Maz..", Ivory smiled until she and Raven left as they've began on what they've told to do. 

"I'll distract!", until Jaden shouted as he blurted out. "Hey you demon! Come and get me here!"

The Red Death sniff as it saw Jaden and went attacking as it dares to bite them but he eventually glided the Triple Stryke to avoid it as possible. "Heh! Is that the best you can do, beast?! Come here, you big monster!" 

During on his distraction, Silver, Camicazi and I began blasting the big dragon's body, causing it to shriek painfully and went berserk out. 

"Oh~.. This dragon is kinda hungry!", Silver muttered. However, he suddenly loses the control of his dragon as he and the Moldruffle fell onto the dragon. "Oww!" 

"Silver!", Camicazi shouted. 

"I'm fine!", Silver winced. "I'm losing my control on this thing!", he continued. 

"Great.. One down, three left for us..", I mumbled. 

Until I look at Flare, "Flare, we need to make a big shot to let that thing caught our attention.. This is better do or die, girl!" I smiled with a confident face. "We will fight this..." And then, Flare flied towards the sky as she performs a dive. When it happens, I hold on to the saddle as I grinned over at the beast. With her diving speed onto the air, she saw her target. 

I gripped as I ready to command. "Fire blast, Flare!" Until Flare blasted a big impact to the Red Death, causing itself to fell to the ground with much force. But a flames onto the blast, makes the dragon's wings caught in fire. 

[AN: Just think that kind of fire blast she had against the Red Death]

"Yeah!"

And then, I glided Flare as I let me grabbing a bow and arrow from the damaged ship. "I'm gonna use this..." 

[A/N: The arrow she used]

She then notice that one of the arrows has a gas that can used to make it fire wide as ever. "Looks like it..", I nodded until I proceed as I fly back. Until I saw that the Red Death stood up as it began to chases me and the big wings revealed out from the 

"Ekkk!!", I almost getting bitten by that huge mouth. "Almost!" 

The Red Death chases me as I lean to the both sides when I change directions over. I can see that the others just watching for me. "Gods..", I sighed but then I continued. I can see too that the dragon on behind me was getting hit onto the rocks that surrounded the nest itself. 

Finally, I decided to fly above the clouds. "Flare, let's get this show on the road!"

[A/N: Imagine that this happens during the chase]

The crowds are watching as it followed my paces until I disappeared along with Flare and so....the Red Death too...
