Dragons: The Viking Saga (The Prequel)

Chapter Eleven: Landslide----Part Five

The battle of Vikings and Dragons are now taking more damage at Krell... As the war stops, so the storm too...overall, the battle between them has suffered more devastation as the rain mixed with thunderstorm and dragons in the archipelago of Krell... Not just the village, but also the forest which it takes one-third of its area as the heavy rain brings landslide to the ground...

Afterwards, they were many Vikings who were suffered injuries but all the food supplies was stolen except one sheep remaining... Mazrieth Hunter was also found injured as she caught by the landslide and right now, the chief of Krell (or her adoptive father) cured her injuries at home...

Next morning then...

'Hmm...Ugh...' 

After the yesterday's battle, Mazrieth woken from her sleep as she was found unconscious at the village of Krell by her father, Gregor...

As Mazrieth wakes up, Shianne and Gregor heard her faint voice and Gregor goes up to her bedroom... "Maz... Hey, Mazrieth...my daughter... Are you okay??" and then he hugs Mazrieth...

"Oh hey, Dad..." Mazrieth rubbed her eyes and see her dad within a clear sight... "Hi, Dad..."

Shianne appeared behind Dad, "Oh hi, sleepy head..."

"Huh? When did I---??" As the last time Mazrieth only remembers that she walked through towards Krell and sudden lost conscious...

"Mazrieth, we've actually found you unconscious when we've scattered around the village to look more about injured Vikings or even dragons..." Her father said.

Mazrieth grab tight on her blanket and said, "Dad... Th--- The house??"

"Its almost taken care by Steven..." He replied.

"Ah... I see..." Looking down on the blanket and reminds what happened yesterday... "Huh?? Oh wait, what about---??" and suddenly, she stopped talking in seconds and rolled her eyes; continued, "Dad?? Have you seen that dragon?? Oh I mean...??" 

'Ugh!!' She touched her head and feels ache in it...reminds about the time when she was get hit by a landslide and its impact...

"Have you seen a big damage of the forest?? I mean, the devastating trees??"

"Devastating trees?? What do you mean??" Shianne asked.

"Yesterday, there was landslide happening on the middle of the forest...and that time I was chasing...a dragon... I hold grip on my axe...but..." She explained what happened during the time she was chasing the Deadly Nadder... "After I chased it, the dragon was sudden disappeared on my eyes and then..." But her voice becomes fainted as she reminds the day she was seeing a Razorwhip before it hits her.

"I don't know... I don't have an idea what happened next but...the last thing I know that...landslide and...a Razorwhip...it all hits me..." 

"Landslide??" Gregor left wondered as he heard about Mazrieth's story.

After hearing a story from her own adoptive daughter, Steven sudden slams the door, "Gregor!! Oh... I mean...chief!!"

Shianne hears the slamming door and comes downstairs and saw Steven enters the house... "Hey, will you knock the door before you get in??", which she provoked her...

"Uh... Miss Shianne, where's your father?? I need to talk to him..." Steven begs her for something that he needs to tell 'some' he knows to the chief.

Gregor approached Steven immediately and Steven said, "The forest, chief!! The forest has been destroyed!! By a landslide..."

"A landslide?? Whe-- where??" Gregor shocked of what he said.

Mazrieth stands firm from her bed and walks downstairs... "Landslide... Let me come with you, Dad!!"

"No, Mazrieth...you need some rest..." He tell her that Mazrieth needs rest after injuries make her loss of her conscious.

"Dad, I need to come with you... I'm that fine, Dad... I need to see that effect of the landslide..." Mazrieth begs him... "I begged you... For real, I was caught by that, Dad!! Please..." and tells the truth that she was the person who'd known about the landslide.

Sighed and came back stairs, making him piggy back Mazrieth as he agreed to let her see...

"Okay... Just hold on tight..."

Forty minutes after, they finally arrived to the scene where the landslide has given more damage to the forest...

"What the hell--??" Gregor was left shocked and by then, he put Mazrieth down slowly as she too saw the aftermath effect of the landslide.

"Looks the landslide takes damage of its forest..." Mazrieth said... "The landslide...is very destructive and fast...making that blast isn't the easy way to survive it...but how did I---??"

"....Survive??" Steven continues afterwards... "Yeah, how did you survive??"

"How did I know?? All I know that when I hit by that landslide, there was faintly white figure showed up and everything then became black... That's all..." Mazrieth answered.

"That's all??" Shianne asked... "Tell me more details..."

"Duh!! How can I remember anything if my left feet didn't sprained a little bit...you know... It hurts for real?!!" Mazrieth yelled her sister... "The last thing I saw that impact hit me and that figure showed up..."

"Oh really??" Shianne argued with Mazrieth.

"Hey, you two... Stop it..." Their father orders to stop their arguing.

Gregor then looks the landslide and its destructive effect...and soon Mazrieth sat on the cutted tree where the landslide also hit by it. 

Sighed and thinking through the time of the landslide hits her... 'What was that??'

That figure... Isn't a angel?? Or a demon?? Or am I dead?? No... Its not your imagination.. Wait... Is it a...?? 

"A dragon?? A Razorwhip??"

No... There's no way that dragon saved me... But... That thing has big weird wings... Is that---?? No!! Not that again... Tsk!! I don't really remember what happened... 

Because of that incident, Mazrieth wonders what happened during the time she fought against a Deadly Nadder and a Razorwhip alone...

Right now, Mazrieth asked herself... 'What was that thing??'

And the time that yesterday's war is over...three days then, everything is back to normal... But, Mazrieth left herself thinking and asking... 'What was that?'

Looks like the "Landslide" arc is finally done...and since the arc is done... I won't be updating until the time I'm done watching "Dragons: Race to the Edge" Season 4.... I'll be back...
