Chapter Thirty-Six: I Saw Myself

Shianne's POV

As Camicazi announced about Dad's planned attack, Mazrieth gasped until she ran out. I followed her and so was Camicazi. "Hey, wait up!" I called out. And then, I bumped onto the back. "Ow!"

I saw Mazrieth stopped as she finally saw dozens of Krellian ship leaving the shore. "Oh no.." I can hear Camicazi said it. I spotted Dad and Mazrieth's dragon onto the first ship. That's the leader ship I think, eh?

"Looks like we're too late...", Camicazi said.

Mazrieth bitten her lip and looks at them with her frustrated eyes. "It's a mess.." Camicazi said to her. "You're lost everything.. Your father, your tribe and your bestfriend.."

I went out confused. "What do you mean, Camicazi?"

"Thank you for summing that up..", Mazrieth replied coldly. She lean her head down and looks back at the horizon. "Why did I let that dragon escaped and alive when we met at the woods? Would it better for all of us?"

"But some of us already done it...", Camicazi replied but she paused as she stared at Mazrieth. "But why didn't you?" Until she asked a question at her. "Why didn't you?"

She didn't respond as she walked back away from us, preventing herself to speak. "Mazrieth? Answer me.. Why didn't you?"

"I couldn't...", she finally answered.

"Mazrieth, that's not the answer..", Camicazi said. "That's not it..."

Mazrieth suddenly stopped until she looked back at Camicazi with her irritating eyes. "Why is this so important for all the sudden?!" She then yelled at her.

"Because all I want is to know your answer and I'm gonna remember about it...", Camicazi replied. I was silent. What's going on?

"Oh! For the love of--?!", she facepalmed. "You know one thing about me. That I was a coward! I was weak! I wouldn't kill a dragon! My all in training is all useless because I couldn't kill one!" 

Camicazi smirked. "And yet, you did said wouldn't that time?"

"Yeah, whatever! I wouldn't!", Mazrieth pointed her hand at her chest. I was remained quiet. I watched them with my arms crossed. Her mouth suddenly opened as she continued. "For almost 300 years, I am the first person who won't kill a real dragon!"

My eyes never blinked as I was shocked to hear about it. "Mazrieth.."

Camicazi simply showed her smile and gazes her blue eyes at her bestfriend. ".....the first to ride one though..." She continued her sentence. "So?"

"I couldn't kill her because she is looked frightened as I was...", she deepen her breath as she slowly turned back as she looks at us. "The reason why I didn't kill her....it's because one thing... I saw myself.. My image.." Her eyes went reasonable as she explained. "When I first met her, she was my enemy but the way how she looked back at me..she is just like me..."

"On her eyes, I saw my image. My reflection of me.. I was never meant to be a dragon killer but her destined friend."

Camicazi and I surprised at her final answer. I scratched my head as I sighed because I felt confused but since she explained a lot about her and Flare, I smiled. "I see.." Camicazi went her head lowered as she nods at her. 

"So, what are you gonna do about it? About this?", Camicazi continued. "They're on their way to the Dragon's Nest...and now what?"

"I'll think up something stupid..", Mazrieth said.

"Good. But you're already done that..", Camicazi huffed until she pats at her shoulder. "Any ideas?"

She sighed until she nods back at us. And then, she flicks her finger as she has an idea. A stupid idea. "...and something crazy..." After she said it, she suddenly galloped out and ran away from us when she was planned to go somewhere. 

"Whoa! Wait up, Maddy!", I decided to follow her.

"That's more like it...", Camicazi grinned until she run after us. "Now what is your plan?"

Mazrieth heards it and then, she looked back at her. "Something very crazy for us.. Come on! To the arena!"

Yo again! I just copied the url from youtube about HTTYD-Ready the Ships OST where Hiccup and Astrid had discussion there? xD And some of the scripts are copied...and some of them are revised. It's like best friends discussions :) 

BTW, challap Vikings! xD But I can tell that on Feb. 16 is the premiere of DRTTE Season 6.. GODS! XD So better not miss it xD
