Chapter Twenty-Six: To The Victory

Its been a long time that I haven't write my story...because due to busy at school... Hayys.. But I will finish this story no matter what.. Okay :)

MAZRIETH'S POV

On my way to the beach, I felt exhausted...as I encounter so many difficulties...like..traps, thunderdrums etc.. Now what's next?? Tch..

When I arrive at the beach, I saw Jaden Haddock...left out and standing...

"Ehh...? Jaden? Hey... Uh..." I stopped... "Oh.. uh..hey??"

Jaden later turn his eyes on me, "Shh... Be quiet..." then he look back...

"Be....what do you---??", until I shocked to see that there is something near there; eating... "Wai...wait... Is that---??" 

"Shh... Be quiet, Mazrieth... This is such a bad timing for us... Tch..." Jaden said.

Something red, big and fresh are waiting for us...and that's... "....Monstrous Nightmare..."; until slowly stands and move its neck; clearly looking at us..becomes berserk and it already sets itself on fire.. "Oh my....."

Jaden wields his two-edged axe, "Tch... I actually like challenges... Tch..." 

The Monstrous Nightmare approach us silently...and growling...staring our every move... 

'What now??' 

But Jaden, remains quiet...as his eyes are look closely directly at the Monstrous Nightmare..and with his haled breath, he holds his sword tight... 

I walk quietly to Jaden and my eyes still on the Monstrous Nightmare...trying to be careful on him... "Psst..Jaden..." then I immediately whispers to his ears, "Hey... Listen... I need you to get away from this dragon.. Let me handle this thing..."

Jaden then look his eyes on me, "Wait what??"

"Listen to me.. I'll need you to---..." but suddenly, Ivory appears on the beach... "Hey guys... There you are... I was just---.... What the---??" 

Seeing the Monstrous Nightmare got its eyes on Ivory, it goes on more berserk...and fires at Ivory... 

"Ivory!!!"

Ivory Lionheart dodges the blast, causing the dragon itself to growl even louder and begins to chase her... "Oh thor!!!"

"Ivory!!"

However, Jaden went through his flag and runs away... "Hey!! Jaden, get back here!!" instead of chasing him, I run to help Ivory... "Ivory!!!" 

I yell, and the dragon turn its eyes on me...starting to chase me... 

"Mazrieth...what is she---??" as she sees me being chased, she quickly gets her weapon... "Hey, you stupid monster!!!", shouting to the Monstrous Nightmare.. Taking its attention to her.. "Over here!!!"

"Ivory... Stop.. I can handle this..." leaving no choice.. I decided to approach the dragon slowly and goes to Ivory's side... "Ivory...get outta here now... Now!!!"

"Wha---.. But...", she replied.

"Just go NOW!!!" I order her to get out of here.. Then, she leaves me; getting her flag...

I totally freaked out a little but... I'm still gonna face that..beast.. Although.. Not in a ways by fighting... But.. Training it...is my way to stop it... Even though, this dragon is so demonic to train.. So.. I can take this nice and easy...

Then I approached the Monstrous Nightmare slowly...at ease.. Slowly putting down my weapon and raising my hand to its head...to let me touched it.. Deep my own breath and closing my eyes as I gonna train this dragon...

'Come on...'

Finally, the dragon lean its head to my hand and I gasped out..seeing that the Monstrous Nightmare is felt comfortable on my hand...

"Looks like I did it.. Now..", then I go to the wooden post and gets my flag... 

Later, I pick my sword and set the dragon free.. "Go, now..!!"

I smiled at it and sees it flapping its reddish wings and flies away.. Leaving me alone...and before I continue to run, I sighed a little bit and starts to pace after them...

I'm still exhausted..but still, I ongoing running... Then, while I running I saw Ivory who is tired and resting on a tree..

"Hey Ivory.. Gonna pace ya first..."

Almost passing Ivory and avoids all some small tree branches and rocks... Few moments in my sight, I saw Jaden...who is nearly reach the finished line... 

"Agh damn!!", I stood up and run faster as I could..almost jumping from 5 yards and does a little acrobatics... 

"Tch!!"

Then with a little speed... I go directly at the rooftops, hopping while running and follow Jaden's speed... Although, he has small centimeters until the finished line..

To become a winner, I suddenly jumped out from above and lands at the front of Jaden and...stepping out and aims to the arena... With a big sound of drums, I speed up my legs until I hop and then....

Lastly, I landed 1 centimeter away from the finished line and charges into it.. Swiftly and soon, I've succeeded... Letting myself to reach it first then Jaden and the others came next...

Sooner, the judges are setting aside the winner...and it announces...that..

"The winner of this contest is... Mazrieth Hunter!!"

With an applause from the arena and my dad... Everyone is so happy to hear that I'm the winner... And this is how the chapter ends as I smiled for winning this game... 

'But, this is strange for me...'
