Chapter Seventeen: Secret

MAZRIETH'S POV

In the next day, I woke up early as dawn as I planned to look over the Razorwhip... I decided to exit at the window side of my bedroom and left...

I'm going straight to the blacksmith shop and find my things... Because I'm going to make some medicine for the Razorwhip's cure... Yeah... In the blacksmith, I have some little things that I've hide and that is...the secret door...

I opened the door and led my way to the tunnel and walk towards it... As I walked, I've finally reached my place...where I find myself in my secret garden...that located where my planted healing herbs are gathered....

One by one, I've gather some important herbs for my aid for the dragon.. They are... Purple Oleander, Fire Plant and the other plants that I've used...  Later, I've mixed the following ingredients to the boiling water and waiting... Until then, I'm done making the medicine...

The boiled and complete 'simple' processed medicine, I've pour it into the jar as I gonna bring it to the Razorwhip... Seconds later, I've prepared my satchel and some bread for breakfast and weapon (as I gonna going directly to the training arena without any noticed from the villagers)... Finally, I closed the hidden door and left the blacksmith shop..

And then, I go over at the food stock...where all foods are gathered...

I've managed to steal one of those baskets as I found where many sea slugs and fishes are mixed in just one heavy baskets... 

Yeah.. Timing... 

Afterwards, I left and going straight to the forest...as I planned to meet the Razorwhip and feed it... Although, I noticed that they were Vikings scattered and looks like they're scouting the village... 

I'd take my leave, slowly...and I succeeded... 

All right, I'm on my way to the forest where the Razorwhip was kept hidden and I did bring a lot of food for that beast... 

In the few minutes traveling away, I just found a cut narrow of the river and I followed the flow...and then, I've managed to arrived where I found the Razorwhip drank in the water.

"Hey, how ya doing??"

The Razorwhip caught my attention, as if... Later then, "Looks like a nice early morning, wasn't it?? I have something for you..." 

I showed the big basket and I opened it. I dragged the 'heavy' basket closer to the dragon and I turned it down with my feet.

The Razorwhip look surprised of what seeing in that basket and going near towards it... 

"Ah, okay... Looks like I have some salmon, tuna and the other fish that I really don't know what they are... Oh yeah...(picked the sea slug).. And I found the dozens of sea slugs and one smoked eel..."

But somehow, the dragon's expression showing scared or afraid of something...

"Hey, what's the matter??"

I've picked the eel and showed to the dragon... Instead of showing interest and eat, the Razorwhip stayed away from me and whipped the eel out of my hand... 

'Huh?'

"Hey, what did you---?? Oh alright... So, you don't like eels, right??"

The Razorwhip growled at my face..and suddenly, the dragon draws closer to me and looking back at the basket, smelled and eat...

"Busy eating, doesn't it?? Well, enjoy your time..."

It pays attention to its food and distracted, I've hide some sea slug on the satchel that I used and I pick a jar from it and pour a little drop of my medicine at the sea slug... Planning to feed it to the Razorwhip...

"Hey... I have something for you..."

Typically. The dragon caught my attention and it going towards me...

"Here... I have something...(showing a sea slug)... Have some delicious sea slug...and looks like...uh...yum yum.... Eat it.."

The face moving towards my hand and it managed to eat the sea slug where I poured the drop of the medicine I've make.

"Hey...How was it?? Is it delicious??"

Chomped all over again...the dragon enjoyed the food and right now, I sat on the ground and observed the dragon if the medicine takes effect... 

Once again, I looked at the sky so that I know if the sun gonna rise up... But, if it does, I'm going back to the village and walking towards the arena...

The dragon continued eating on the basket...and I moved my body a little bit to touch the tail and the body...as I touched it... 'Silvered dragon and looks like a metal.'

"Uh, how are you feeling?? Are you feeling okay??"

Razorwhip looked at my face... I continued, "Um... How was the medicine?? Does it taste good?? Oh sorry..UH... Does it taste delicious??"

The dragon come forth near me, "Uh, okay... So you want more?? Well.. I don---don't have anymore, dragon... I'm sorry..."

Instead of angry at me, but, it bowed me...

"Huh?? Is that the way how you say thank you at me, dragon??" 

Roared softly, the Razorwhip really thanked me for the food that I actually stole from the food stock...

But, as the Razorwhip stared at my face, I noticed that there was a glow from above and...I soon know that, the sun has finally rises...

"Oh great... Looks like I have to go...(standing from the ground)... Yeah.. I need to get going, Razorwhip..."

I turned my eyes back on the Razorwhip and walked away from it...but as I going back, the Razorwhip's head pushed me straight...

"Whoa... Okay.. What do you want??"

ROAR...

"Oh.. You want me to stay here?? Oh no... I'm gonna get going since I promised myself to my father that I'll appeared at the arena...and I'll participate... And... I'm gonna make sure that I'll be right back and be on eye on you..."

"Look, my business here you know..is to keep on eye on you and helping you escape as the villagers gonna investigate about the landslide or perhaps you for short... And I'll be right back..."

Few yards away from the Razorwhip, I looked back on it, "I'll be right back for you... For now, I'll keep this thing in secret... I mean our meeting in secret..and I'll promise you that I'm not allow anyone else find you or me befriended to you... That's because you saved me twice...and I'm gonna do something for my payback...for you..."

I turned my eyes back from the staring at the Razorwhip and walked away from it...

"Yeah... I'll promise you..."

I ran fast as I could to reach the village without any notice or suspicion by the villagers...

'Secret, huh?? Looks like I'm gonna take that with me... '
