To scared to tell him the truth
I was too afraid to tell him when I left. That's where you end up when you've got too much guilt. I used to work with Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow, and the crew but when I cheated on Ray, I knew I had to leave. Ray is part of team Arrow and it kills me to break up with him without telling him why.
I was in my apartment going through some old photos of when I was on team Arrow when there was a knock at the door. I placed down the photo of me and Ray and went to answer it.
"I'm so sorry." It was Oliver, the guy I cheated on Ray with.
"For what?" I asked.
"For breaking you and Ray up. I know it's been a long time since he breakup but today would've been your 2 year dating anniversary and Ray still remembers as he broke down crying. He was blaming himself for something I did. Please, go back to him and explain. You don't have to date, but just tell him why you did what you had to do."
"I did what I had to do because I thought it was the right thing. If he needs or wants me, he can come to me. For now, bye." I said as I closed the door on his face.
I sat down on the sofa and began to cry. I forgot about our two year dating anniversary, I wasn't thinking. I couldn't believe Ray still had feelings for me.
Half an hour later, there was another knock at the door.
'It better not me Oliver again.' I thought to myself.
"Ray?" I asked. Maybe Oliver did say something to Ray about visiting me if he needs or wants me.
"I came because I need you, y/n. I'm struggling to find myself and I feel as though some part of me is missing; and there is. It's you." He explained.
"Why me? You've got Felicity now, don't you? You don't need me anymore." I said.
"I don't have Felicity. I need you. Please, will you be my girlfriend again?"
I couldn't help by let a tear slip from my eye. I wanted Ray back in my arms so much that I couldn't resist his offer.
"I could never let you go." I said.
"So... That's a yes?" He asked hopefully.
"Yes, I will be your girlfriend." I said as his lips connected with mine.
