You break up with him but don't tell him why

It's been 8 months since I cheated on Jax and I still haven't told him, nor do I want to. I cheated on Jax with Barry Allen, aka: the Flash. I couldn't deal with the guilt that was making Jax and I more distant from each other nor could I keep something like this a secret for so long. I had to end our relationship. Jax and I were only dating for 10 months before I broke up with him and today was supposed to be our 1 and a half year anniversary, but of course that's not going to happen.
I was looking through some pictures on the Wave rider from our first proper date when there was a knock. I looked up and it was Ray.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey, y/n." He said slowly. "Jax is in his room and he's upset but he won't talk to any of us, not even Stein. Can you see if he'll talk to you?"
"No need, I already have a rough idea what it's about." I said whilst putting the pictures back in the box and shoving it under the bed.
"Why is he upset then?" Ray asked.
"Today would've been our 1 and a half year anniversary but I broke up with him 8 months ago." I said.
"Why did you break up with him? You two seemed like a really loving couple." Ray said.
"I cheated on him." I said. "I couldn't deal with the guilt and I couldn't tell him because I was scared of having to deal with the consequences so I broke it off."
"Who did you cheat on him with?" He asked and I just gave him the 'you don't need to know' look. "Or not,"
We stayed in silence for a few minutes before Ray looked at me and suggested I go and talk to Jax. I sighed but left. I walked around and found Jax in the engine room.
"Hi." I said.
"Hey," He replied.
"Ray said you're upset and won't talk to anyone. Is it because today is our one and a half year anniversary, or is it something else?" I asked.
"It's about our anniversary." He replied. "Did I do something wrong so you broke up with me? Did I say something or do something that I shouldn't have done?" He asked.
"No... I did something wrong. I couldn't tell you because I was scared and I just panicked. Sorry." I said.
"It's fine but what did you do?" Jax asked.
"You would hate me even more if I told you." I replied.
"No I won't, I promise." He said.
"I cheated on you." I sighed.
"With who?"
"Barry." I whispered. I knew there were tears in my eyes but I didn't want Jax to think any less of me because I'm crying over something as stupid as cheating on Jax.
"Hey, hey, don't cry." He said and pulled me into a supportive hug. "Do you want to be my girlfriend again?"
"Yes..." I said as we shared a kiss.
