This is for @Roannseal. Sorry, it's incredibly delayed, I just didn't seem to have much time to fit this in.

I'm Amelia Palmer. Yes, Ray Palmer's sister. Our sibling relationship is quite good, but he is super overprotective over me and it's annoying. Jax and I are a couple, but Ray doesn't know yet. When we tell him, he's going to flip. Being the overprotective older brother he is, he isn't going to like this at all and get really annoyed at Jax, and maybe even threaten him. This is what I don't like about Ray.

Today, Jax and I are going to pluck up enough courage to tell Ray. I didn't want to, but Jax persuaded me. He told me it would be better if Ray found out through us rather than through someone else, and that someone else was likely to be Mick. So I sided with Jax and agreed we'd tell Ray together.

When we were about to speak to Ray, he seemed to be preoccupied with a very involved scientific conversation with Professor Stein. I didn't want to interrupt, but Jax decided to anyways.

"Sorry Grey, but this is more important than your little science talks," Jax said. "Amelia and I need to speak to Ray. Alone."

"I shall only be on my way once Mr. Palmer says it's okay. I do not agree with me abandoning him with a couple of teenagers." Professor Stein said.

"Seriously? It's Dr. Palmer." Ray sighed. "But it's fine. You can go, Professor. We'll catch up in the engine room or science lab later on."

With that, the professor left the room. Just as he left, Rip walked in, making me groan in anger as we just got rid of one person so the three of us could be alone, but we gained another person. This time, it was the captain, who is likely to gain all the gossip and spread it around the ship.

"Rip?" I asked. "We need to speak to Ray alone, can we have a moment?"

"It's fine. I'll be just here. Carry on." Rip replied.

"You clearly didn't understand my request, captain," I said. "Alone."

"It's my ship, Ms. Palmer." Rip said.

"And this is a private conversation that you don't need to be involved in." I said.

"Come on, Rip." Jax said. "We just want five minutes."

"Make it under. I'll be back in three." He said, flipping his trench coat and headed out of the Bridge and away from us.

"Ray, there's something Jax and I need to tell you. So, can you promise not to get mad?" I asked.

"Um, I guess." Ray sighed.

"Jax and I are-" I began, but was interrupted by a voice. It was a girl this time. Sara.

"Screwing! I knew it!" Sara yelled. "Hey, Mick! That's $10 for me! You just lost the bet!"

"I'm not screwing with Jax, Sara!" I yelled back. "Now get out!"

Unlike Rip and the Professor, Sara followed my request and instructions quickly and evacuated the room as if she knew what I'd do to her if she disobeyed me. God, I sound like Rip.

"Amelia and I are dating, Ray," Jax said quickly, getting it out of the way before we had any more disruptions.

"What?" Ray asked.

"You heard him, Ray." I sighed. "Please, don't be the overprotective brother like you always are. I'm not a child anymore. I can live my life without you being so protective."

Ray took glances between myself and Jax. Jax and I shared a worried look, unsure of what Ray was thinking and what he was planning on doing. The unknown is so much scarier than you think when you're actually witnessing it first hand.

"If you dare hurt her," Ray started, staring Jax straight in the eye and giving him an evil death stare look.

"Here we go..." I mumbled.

"I will end you," Ray said. "Got it?"

"Got it." Jax agreed, slowly backing out of the room. "I have some laundry to do. I'll be back later."

With that, he left the room. I turned over to Ray and gave him a glare. He knows I hate when he gives this threatening pep talks to my boyfriends, despite me only having three previously in the space of, like, 7 years. None of which lasted more than five months. They were all scared off by Ray and I sure hope this doesn't happen again with Jax. There's something about him that makes him different from my previous relationships. I just hope it doesn't end the same. Or better yet, not end at all.
