Crimson O'Connell was a normal girl until she joined the team of Legends. She's cursed... she can't let anyone fall in love with her, nor can she fall in love herself. The person that loves her will die a most painful and terrible death. She can't let anyone fall in love with her. She can't let herself fall in love with anyone... she wishes not death to anyone.

-Crimson's Pov-

"Alright everyone, we've arrived in 1958." Rip informs the team. I unstrap myself from my chair and walk over to Gideon.

"What are we doing in 1958, Rip?" I asked.
"Vandal Savage is here. We have one shot to find him and kill him." Rip said. "This is our chance."

"And how are we going to kill an immortal psychopath without him realising what we're doing until it's too late?" Jax asked.
"We need to disguise ourselves." Rip said. "Kendra and Ray will pretend to me a married couple and live in a nice home. Crimson and Snart will do the same."

"What are we going to do whilst they get to have all the fun?" Sara asked.
"We will try and find out where Savage is. We'll manage to hunt him down and kill him, ending this once and for all." Rip said.
"Rip, can I stay on the ship? I'd rather stay in the library or helping you guys find Savage. Sara can go and have 'fun' instead." I said, knowing I didn't and couldn't fall in love with anyone here. If I do fall in love with someone who has a massive effect on the future, they're going to die because of me and the time line will be altered.

"Thanks for your concern, Miss O'Connell, but I think you and Mr Snart will be fine living amongst the people of 1958." He said.

I sighed and got changed into era-appropriate clothing. Snart and I headed out and brought a house. Who knew my life would be like this?

~2 weeks later~

I haven't heard about Savage yet, I've been too distracted that I won't leave the house and go back to the Wave rider and hear what has happened... I've even blocked Snart out of it for now. I'm trying not to show feelings for anyone, especially Snart. But I do think I may be falling for him...

No! Snap out of it, Crimson! You must've fall in love with Snart!

"Are you okay?" I jumped at the sound of the familiar voice. It was Snart.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" I asked.
"You just seemed to be staring into space." Snart said then walked away.

Even if I did like him, he wouldn't like me back...

Wait... I can't love him, no matter what! If I love him, he's going to die. It will be all my fault! I must hide my feelings... I need to forget about him... But how?

-4 months later-

"I need to maintain contact with the Oculus in order to destroy it." Ray said. We were at the Vanishing Point, ready to destroy the thing that was controlling us and time: The Oculus. Ray said something scientific, so Mick asked for it to be said in 'English'.
"You can't elect yourself to stay, Ray." I said. Mick ignored me and shoved Ray our of the way.
"You go, I'll stay." Rip grabbed my arm as we ran out and found the others.

If you're wondering what happened between Snart and I... well, nothing. I didn't tell him how I feel. I didn't tell anyone about it and that Snart's going to die sometime because of me.

"Where's Mick?" I heard Snart ask, clearly noticing that Mick wasn't here.

"Mr Rory has elected himself to stay." Rip said. Snart didn't reply, instead he rushed to the Oculus. I followed him. We reached the Oculus and saw Mick. Snart looked at Mick before speaking.

"My old friend, please forgive me." Snart said then wacked Mick across the head with his cold gun.
"Take him and get out of here." Snart said. He threw his own gun on top of the unconscious Mick and gestured for me to take him out. I looked at him... I guess I could tell him. No, I'll show him. I grabbed his collar and kissed him. I pulled away and looked at him before dragging Mick back to the others.
"Snart's staying." I said. Firestorm grabbed Mick from me and flew to the Wave rider.

Utter silence filled the Wave rider that evening. Leonard Snart is dead.
His death...

It's all my fault...
