When I left Josh's house last night around 5 pm Emma and I came straight home so I could get enough sleep for work today. My mom's been telling me she wants to see her so I asked her to watch Emma today while I go to work. Of course she said yes. So when I woke up this morning I got ready for work and now I'm trying to find an outfit for Emma while she sleeps.
While I go through her closet I take out some outfits and then I choose a blue flowy shirt with white leggings and her pair of brown booties.

"Emma" I say as I gently shake her
Her eyes flutter open and she stretches her arms out. She puts her arms out and I pick her up.
"Want to see grandma today baby?" I ask her
"Ganma?" She asks
"Yes. She says she misses you and wants you to come over" I smile
She nods her head and I put her in her booster seat at the dining room table. I fix her a small bowl of lucky charms and wait as she eats. When she finishes she pushes the bowl away. I take her out and make her sit on the potty until she uses it. Once she uses it, I wipe her then clean the potty out.
I get her a fresh pamper and get her dressed. I brush her hair and put a white headband in it to keep her hair out of her face. After she's ready I make sure everything is in her bag before grabbing my things. I take her hand and we walk to the elevator to go down in the lobby. I stop at the mailboxes and check to see if I have any mail before going to the garage.
I unlock my car and strap Emma in her seat before going to mine. I make sure the safety lock is on before I start the engine and start driving to my mom's house. When I get there I park in her driveway and use my key to let us in.
"Beth is that you?" Mom calls from the kitchen
"Yea" I call
I let go of Emma's hand and she instantly starts running towards the kitchen. I chuckle and follow her.
"Ok" I say sitting her bag on the counter "Everything is here. If she gets fussy just put paw patrol on; She'll sit down and behave. If she acts up put her in a chair facing the wall and make sure she sits there for 3 minutes, any time she gets up make her sit there for another minute."
"Honey this isn't my first time babysitting. May I remind you I have two kids and one of which is you" Mom laughs
"Please don't give her any cookies like last time" I beg "She was on a sugar high for two days straight and kept me up all night"
"Ok I won't now go before you're late" She laughs
"Right" I sigh "Emma!"
Emma runs up to me and says "Yes mommy?"
"Give me kiss I'm leaving" I say
She hugs me and then kisses me goodbye.
"I love you princess I'll be back at 6 to get you ok?" I ask
