[S/N] Hello once again audience! How are you today? I think my wrist is trying to break and Elsie is having a mild breakdown. But we're going to write this chapter anyway. Yaaaay.
[E/N]: BUT I MADE A COMEBACK AND TOTES CONQUERED THIS CHAPTER. Not really. It’s kind of a filler and it was really forced. So sorry about that… DEDICATED TO ALLTIMEASHBY FOR THE WICKED FANART. WESTSIDE.

All eyes turned to Louis and dread filled everyone. Louis gulped loudly from the attention and Liam was the first one to find his words.

"What do you mean he knows?" he spoke softly, obviously forcing himself to be calm.

"I don't think... I don't think he knows I'm on land," Louis shook his head for a second. "He just knows I'm not where I said I'd be. And he probably knows there's no girl."

Niall let out an overly dramatic sigh as he clutched at his heart, "Oh thank Neptune. I thought we were done for."

"I hate to break it to you, mate," Zayn said. "But I'm assuming you probably still are."

“No,” Harry, who had gone silent and stiff against Louis' side interjected with a croak. “You aren’t done for.”

“How do you know?” Louis whispered. “How am I supposed to tell my father, king of all the oceans, that I’ve been with humans, the creatures that he hates most, for the last week?"

Harry remained silent because in all honesty, he didn't know. He didn't know how Louis was supposed to tell his dad, all Harry knew was that he didn't want to lose Louis. He tightened his grip on the merprince and Louis seemed to calm a bit.

"Should we... I don't know, go talk to him or something?" Niall asked while running a hand through his slightly damp hair.

"I don't know, Ni. It's hard to believe that it would help but it's worth a shot, right?" Louis shrugged miserably.

"Maybe we shouldn't tell him exactly where we have been," Niall said slowly.

"How are you going to avoid that question?" Liam asked, crossing his arms.

"Uh, we can just change the subject every time he brings it up?" the blonde squeaked.

"That's actually not that bad of an idea," Louis interjected.

"It's the main reason he's trying to drown most of Florida!" Liam all but shouted. "If he's freaking out because you're not where you said you'd be, what's he going to do when he finds out that you're in the place he apparently hates more than anything? How will you convince him to not murder you?"

"You obviously didn't grow up with the master of getting out of trouble," Niall smirked, looking to the prince.

Louis gave a small smile in return before returning his gaze to the screen as it switched to a man sitting behind a desk. Louis probably would've questioned who he was and his purpose if they were in a different situation, instead he cuddled himself closer to Harry. The boy had a blank look on his face and was staring silently at the floor. Louis was only sure that Harry was mentally present because his hands were fisted into the material of the older boy's shirt.

"So that's the plan then?" Zayn asked. "You're just going to go talk to him?"

"Yeah, why not?" Louis shrugged. "I go, I apologise for not being where I said I'd be. If he asks where I've been, I'll just change the subject."

"It'd be blatantly obvious that you're avoiding the question," Zayn pointed out.

"Well, yeah, I'll have to tell him eventually but I'll go home for a few days and let him cool down," Louis shrugged a tad.
