Meg P.O.V.
The next morning I woke up the usual time and got dressed immediately. I looked back at the bed and thought of such a GREAT but TERRIBLE idea. I giggled as I went to fill up the bucket of water and the towels.
I turned Race over on his side and stuck the towels underneath him.
I called Race's name and told him to get up.
"Race! Wake up! Wake up ya bum! Or I'll soak ya!"
"Like you'd eva do dat ta me!"
"Try me bitch!"
I throw the water as his face and he shoots up.
"What the FUCK!"
He gets up and starts to chase me around the Brooklyn Lodging House.
3rd Person P.O.V.
The newsies in the bunk room hear screaming. "What in da name is dat noise?" Muddy asks.
"Ise donno!" Slip says.
A girls laugh of a different tone gives the guys more confusion.
"Well it ain't da new leadah!"
"Whose it then?"
"Prob dat bum dat she brought wit 'er."
Yes, it was Racetrack.
Feet stomping wakes the other newsboys and then a loud "GET UP YA BUMS!" follows.
The newsboys know that she is waiting for them so they get up and get dressed as fast as they can.
When they reach downstairs the new leader is looking at a watch. "Tsk tsk tsk, took yall 9minutes ta get ready?!?! Ise a goil and it takes me 5minutes tops! Youse gotta get wit de program. CMON NOW BOYS LETS GO CARRY DA BANNER!"
Cheering follows and Ace catches up with Meg.
"Hey Meg! wait up!"
"Yeah Ace?"
"Spot neva gives us pep talks, and he also neva goes soft... Youse the opposite! It's great having youse! Youse two should switch ev'ry once in a while!"
"Nah, too much woik! Ya newsboys are late! I'd expect Brooklyn ta be betta dan dis!" She laughs.

Heya fam! This chapter is pretty sucky (as I say so myself) and I promise ACTUAL ACTION in the next chapter. Stuff going on and hopefully will be updating like usual, every day or two.
