"Off ta Brooklyn!" Race and I yell. Everyone waves Race and I goodbye as we start on our journey to Brooklyn.

Meg P.O.V.
"Race?"
"Yeah Meg?"

We were heading to Brooklyn with all of our stuff.

"Have you've stayed in Brooklyn before?"
"Yeah, it wasn't pretty."
"Oh, well, do youse think we'll be good leadahs?"
"Yeah, Ise think so."

I nod my head and continue walking. Fifteen minutes later we take our first step onto the Brooklyn Bridge. "Welcome ta Brooklyn." I mumble.

Race smiles and looks at me. "Remember what I said?"

"Yeah."

We laugh.

When we get to the docks everyone looks at us. I take out Spot's cane and use it as a walking stick. I go up to Ace and drag him away, telling him what is going on.

At the end of the story, he laughs and nods.
"Go make an announcement, those bums don't know what's goin on."

I continue walking with the cane and stand on Spot's "throne."

"Hey! Dats Spot's throne! Get off a there!"

"Now listen up!"

Everyone quickly retreats to the lodging house and I laugh high-fiving Ace and Race.

That night I was laying awake with Race in Spot's bed.

"Mhm."
"Youse awake?"
"Yeah,"
"Okay."
"Why?"
"Ise don't know, youse afraid?"
"No, Ise worried."
"Me too."

"Aw, thanks Meg!"

I slap him. "Okay, maybe I love ya a little..."

"RACE!"

"Ise love you too, babe."
"Don't push it Higgins."

He laughs and I eventually fall asleep.
