It had been approximately five minutes since Eunji and Chanyeol headed to their destination which was the club were Chanyeol had his strange "encounter" with Yoona.
However, there was one problem. Neither one of them has said a word to each other. Aside for the norm of formal greetings.
They had nothing to talk about. Although they have talked to each other before.
This situation was different because of the simple fact that they are basically strangers that are only together for a common objective.
A common tragedy entangling their lives. To find out what happened on November 13th.
"You're an intern?" Chanyeol looked over to the lady shifting in her seat next to him.
"Yeah...I barely started since I arrived here" Her eyes trailed the city and endless activity outside the sheet of glass.
"You aren't from around here?" He quickly glanced at her.
"I'm originally from Busan."
A hanging silence fell between the two strangers.
"She was from Busan too," Chanyeol muttered.
"She would always say this phrase from her hometown" Eunji looked at his side profile. Noticing a small sad smile beginning to appear at the ends of his lips.
"What was she to you?" Chanyeol moved his eyes from the road his smile diminishing back to a cold front.
"Sorry for asking. I know it's none of my business to ask something so personal-"
"She was my fiancée. We were going to get married..." He gripped the steering wheel.
"I'm sorry." Eunji whispered.
"It's not your fault." He voiced out.
They fall into thick silence.
"It's mine..." His voice was low, dry. Eunji could've missed his words that slipped between lips. However, she was unfortunate enough to hear them.
Slowing stopping in front of the club that Chanyeol just had been the night
before. The entrance displaying name of the club through neon filled lights, Euphoria. Despite the inviting lettering that indicated the club was in service.
There was no impatient people lined up behind the red velvet rope. No bouncers and drunken friends stumping out the door. It was a ghost town on a lively night.
"There's something wrong..." Eunji's eyes shifted to Chanyeol on her right as his brows met. Calculating the scene that was the untouched nightclub. His orbs moved to hers, his voice held authority, "Stay here."
He opened the car door and shut it quickly that Eunji didn't have the chance to refute. Following him with her eyes as he went around the front of the car then across the busy street. She let out a heavy sigh.

Walking into the club it was quiet with no chatter or clinking of glasses. Only music was flowing throughout out the vacant space.
The strokes of neon lights dancing on the dance floor with the rhythm of the electronic music track. Yet there were no souls to be found.
Despite all the signs that indicated that there was definitely something wrong with this scene. The thought never occurred to Chanyeol that death was in his path.
Pop!
Adrenaline rushed into his body at the unexpected sound. Tripping on his own two feet in his dismay he fell onto the ground. Hissing at the pain he felt in his palm from the contact.
Chanyeol lift his palm that stung in pain, noticing a shard of glass embedded in his hand.
He rose his palm up to see the injury. He decided to pull out the glass, holding his profanities. He grunted with every tug that led to more droplets of blood falling to the floor.
However, that wasn't the only blood on that very floor. There was a puddle of blood streaming down like a river near his leg ankle.
Dismissing the pain curiosity lead his eyes to move up the elegant stream. His eyes widened at the man laying there beside him, hole in his head. The man's dead eyes wide open pierced into Chanyeol like he was envious of his life that he no longer held.
A gun pressed to his right temple, his heart halted in it's heightened beat, "Get up."
