Like a flood, the wine colored blood broke free through the fabric that covered his wound.

I watched as the nurses and doctors take him down the narrow white hallway.

Frozen for a second, I regained my senses when someone pushed me along to the waiting area.

Remembering the women I was with. I looked around the room full of people crying and pleading for their loved ones to make it out of surgery.

"Krystal!" I tugged on someone's arm expecting it to be her.

The other person just looked at me with a piercing glare.

"Sorry I thought..." I let go of her arm. Running my fingers through my hair, the anxiety I had held in explode. I drop to the floor pressing my hand against my forehead.

What happened to her?

It was like Krystal disappeared into thin air. Nowhere to be found.

"Miss..." Someone shakes my shoulder gently.

I open my eyes, sight blurry. I rubbed them to see a nurse in front of me, a small smile on her lips.

I take in my surroundings. The sun was shinning into the room indicting it was the early  morning. There were barely any people left just me and a couple.

"You are the one with Chanyeol, right? He made it out of surgery successfully, you can see him now" She explained and I nodded my head.

Showing me the way to his room on the second floor. She then left me while I stood outside the door.

Should I even be allowed to be in here?

Grasping onto the handle I quietly entered the room. I have to see that he is alright. I could see him laying down with a monitor near his bed. An IV stuck in his arm.

He is still sleeping maybe I should come back later.

Warmth spreads through my body by a touch of a hand grasping onto my fingers. "Don't leave"

Sounding completely different from when he told me to leave. Then again that was in different circumstances.

"I thought you were asleep"

"I woke up before you came in" I smile sitting myself in the chair near his bed.

"Did you stay all night?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"How-"

"You're wearing the same clothes."

"I wanted to make sure nothing happened to you" I said then looked around the room, fiddling with my fingers in my lap.

"If you hadn't showed up something would've" I wanted to know what happened, why I found him with a stab wound in his abdomen.

It just didn't feel like the right time to ask those questions. Not after he just had surgery. Some other time would be better.

"Then good thing I did."

"Thank you..." When those words slipped between Chanyeol's lips, I couldn't believe he was saying them.

"What is it," He tilted his head at me.

"Nothing" I smile nervously trying not to make eye contact with him.

"But Chanyeol you don't-"

A pair of lips meet my left cheek, soft and gentle. I lose my breath at the instant sensation.

His presence so close after his lips left my skin. I could feel the ghosting of his lips hovering over mine. Instinctively my eyes automatically closed.

He gives me a chaste kiss that somehow makes me forget the tragedy. I feel my body lean slightly into his lips.

He moves away first, only a few inches apart from me. The moment I flutter my eyes open. Chanyeol's eyes ventured into mine.

His orbs weren't as enigmatic as previously. They felt remarkably warm and pleasant.

"What's happening to us?" I thought out loud.

A firm knock on the closed door reverberated into the space.

I swear this isn't turning into a romance story. It's only natural to be attracted to Park Chanyeol. I mean he is talented and his voice- oh my god. I need to stay in my lane. Another update soon.
