•Xen's POV•

I woke up to the sound of heavy breathing near my face, and upon opening my eyes—I could've swore that I have regretted doing so as I came face to face with a montrous looking creature.

I immediately tried to get up and run away but I felt the familiar stinging pain on my side—where I have just been stabbed!

Groaning—I tried my best and I luckily did it but then the said creature shrieked loudly that I felt like my head was splitting into two. "What the hell–?!" I complained to no one in particular as I looked around looking for any place that I can hide or maybe use as a weapon, but I only saw distorted looking background and a lot of useless stuffs around. There were broken window sills, even a door along with a broken clock, broken toys.. "Where the heck am I..." I asked myself before slightly limping myself towards the door to hide behind but the creature easily blocked my path beforw it seemed to had tilted it's head before grinning at me showing it's sharp looking teeth.

Just then flaming chains came out of nowhere in different directions and wrapping itself around the said creature—My eyes widened even more if possible in shock as I watch as the creature was stranggled and squeezed by the chains before it bursted into flames, followed by a sarcastic laugh echoing around the place.

I immediately let myself look around to find where it was coming from and there I see a young looking boy—probably the same age as me? Sitting on top of a pile of..... dead bodies.

"My my, no 'thank you' for the one who saved your sorry ass?"

"Who in the world are you?" I managed to ask without my voice cracking in nervousness.

"Me? I'm known around as Mad Hatter—but I will allow you to call me Daniel," he grinned widely.

Meanwhile...

"It's almost time we make a move," A silver-haired male spoke in a cheerful tune as he along with a red-haired male looked at a circle on the ground with bunch of symbols and words inside it. "Mhm," the other responded as he knelt down on a knee before touching the circle.

The silver-haired male chuckled as he gently nudged the other with his foot before crossing his arms over his chest with a raised brow, "You don't seem excited,"

"There's nothing to be excited about."

"Really now? We'll see.."

Just then, the circle suddenly glowed, causing the two to step back in slight shock as they watched what was happening..

Xen's body had emerged from the circle with another male next to him who had an unreadable expression.

The other two had gotten ready to attack whenever as they realized who the other was that was with Xen.

"Hello... Bye..." Daniel said as his blue eyes glowed before disappearing into thin air in a split second. "Damn it," the silver haired male cussed before watching as the other rushed over to Xen.

He meerly stared at his face for a few seconds before shaking his head in disbelief after seeing the state the other was in before carrying him up in his arms. "Let's go."
