Epilogue

Dan and Phil both put on their place suits and headed out to the taxi waiting in front of their house. Hand in hand, they are finally ready to say goodbye to Yuko, for the last time.

When they arrived at the cemetery , they are surprised to find how many people actually showed up. A bunch of their friends of course, from YouTube and offline. Phil's dad and Martyn showed up, and his mom did too, surprisingly enough. The most surprising for them of course was Yuko's friends. Charlotte showed up but she was alone, muttering something to herself the whole time before the service began.

Dan started his eulogy:

"We would like to thank you all for coming today, we are here to bless the ashes of our little lion, Yuko. She was not only our shining star, she was also a great friend to many of you here, and a great inspiration to many through my YouTube channel and Phil's as well. Yuko was that little bit of light that helped a lot of people through tough times, I guess we just never realized that she was going through some, some p-pretty tough times as well..." Dan started stuttering, tears falling from his dark brown eyes. Phil continued the eulogy,

"We will remember Yuko for the amazing women she had become, and we must remember the joy she brought into our lives. Dan and I are so proud to have called her our daughter, she accomplished so much, in the short life she had. She actually recently came out as bisexual which was a huge turning point in her life, but it brought such pride in her that she could have accomplished something so life-changing." Phil's eyes glance over to his mom, who has a face of almost disgust, and then he glances over at Charlotte, who is in tears. He then glances up towards the sky,

"Yuko, our little ray of sun, I don't think we are done, you will always be in our lives, you left a mark that we can never erase and we are so proud of who you became and we are so happy to have called you our daughter." Phil pauses, his eyes welling up with tears.

"We will move on, with you in our hearts. We will be strong, and we will ride this roller coaster called life, with you by our side." Dan hugs Phil and they lift up the urn and place it where it belongs.

They both can't bear the thought, once again, of never seeing their little girl ever again. They crumble in each other's arms, struggling to keep each other up. Everyone else around them are continuously wiping the tears off of their faces, leaving everyone with bloodshot eyes.

Dan and Phil may have lost Yuko, but they have each other. And right now, that's all they need, to remember Yuko and the mark she left on their relationship, and their world.
