Chapter One - Strange Stroll
A lovely full moon was out, my Akita Hachi and I were about to take our evening walk. I put on my new pair of blue wedges that matched my new flowing floral print blue buttoned down top, to a T!, applied my makeup from the MAC colorization eye shadow collection and added their Craving colour lipstick to my lips. I took the curling iron and added some wavy curls to my hair, which by the way, I had just had some extensions put in that were fabulous, and you could not tell it wasn't mine.. hehehe.
I got Hachi who was overly excited to be finally going out for his walk, put on his collar and leash and went out the door. We were walking down the lane, enjoying the lovely evening breeze, the moon that looked strangely engaging and beautiful, we heard this noise that sounded something like a scream, Hachi stopped sniffing the frog, and perked his ears up. I stood there in between shock at the scream and grimacing at that ugly ass frog in the road.
This girl came running and screaming with this intense look in her eyes which scared me and made me run too. Weirdly the heels were just as comfy and easy to run in as sneakers. We were almost halfway back home when this dude with this camera passed us.
"Why the hell are you two running? We were just making a short film." He smiled at me.
The girl who ran passed us, came up next to him and smiled. "Yeah, sorry if I scared you, I like your shoes."
"Aww, thanks," I said, "I just bought them."
We laughed and I walked Hachi back home, I said goodbye to him and he licked my cheek and wagged his tail. It was weird because he always gets mad when I leave without him.
At the bus stop, things were moving intolerably slow and not a single bus was in sight. I was pissed and ready to go back home, when this hot guy in a Ford Dodge Ram stopped in front of me.
"Hey! Going to the summit?"
"Yeah, I've been waiting for an hour and nothing's coming."
"Hah! Figures, get in I'll give you a ride."
I got into his truck and shut the door. I was so busy checking him out that I hadn't even stopped to think about why he would ask if I was going to a summit.
"My name's Brian, nice to meet you."
"I'm Cher, nice to meet you too."
"Cher?"
"Yeah, you can call me CeeJay if you want. It's what my friends call me."
He smiled. "Ok, CeeJay it is."
"Yeah." I smiled back.
Now, I know I said he was hot but that doesn't cut it, he was super hot! Like a Zac Efron/Alexander Skarsgard, kind of thing all in one. And of course I was freaking out in my head. His features were strong, yet soft at the same time if that makes any sense, he had chestnut brown hair and hazel eyes that were just drop dead gorgeous.
"Ok, we're here, you just need to cross the road and go inside that gate right there." He pointed.
"Oh! Thank you." I hadn't even realized we had stopped... or started for that matter.
"No prob."
I was freaking out so much I didn't even see how we got there or wondered how he knew exactly where to go. But I crossed the road and almost got ran over by a pick-up truck as per usual...Why me? However I got there safely. The moon had come out brighter, and everyone who was there looked at me, and I felt totally over-dressed. I mean geez, have these people no sense of fashion? They were all there in T-shirts and cut-off jeans, with No Shoes!?
Someone touched me on the shoulder, and I turned around.
"Hey."
IT was Brian, oh my gosh! I could just faint right here, right now, but could you blame me, hottie!
"Hey, I didn't know you were coming too. You drove off."
"Yeah, I had to find a parking space, sorry, but these things get crowded really fast and it helps to be close to someone you know and not get separated."
He flashed me that intoxicating smile, and I couldn't help but giggle. Now I'm not only a Barbie looking girly girl to everyone here, I'm a giggly one at that. Which, I am, except for the Barbie girly girl part... right?
"So... We should find somewhere to sit."
"Yeah."
We sat down on a huge, flat, lime stone rock and everyone stared at us.
"You're quite the attention hog aren't you?"
"Me? No I just seem to get a few stares."
"Hah! Modest too, that's good."
"If you say so." I blushed and looked down at my shoes.
We laughed and I nudged his shoulder. Soon after, this guy about 40 years old started to talk on a microphone.
