I put my clothes on, got the right amount flirt, and I’m doing me up with some golden eye shadow, rose pink blush and easy on the lips, sparkly lip gloss. Ok, I was listening to Adam Lambert as I got ready. Wasn’t going to find a boyfriend or anything but I felt good and ready to flirt with some cute guys.
We decided to meet each other at 6:00 PM in the van stand. I met with my girls, who all looked glammed up by the way. Shane was wearing these wedges to die for, Christina was in this adorable dress, Simone was wearing an elegant outfit that kind of looked like a long romper, I’m not sure what you call them, but I loved it on her and Jade was in a nice figure hugging maxi dress with rose coloured sandals. What can I say? My girls are show stoppers.
Transformers 3D was unbelievable. Without Megan Fox it didn’t seem quite right but it was great. Kept you interested, plus it was in 3D, need I say more, the graphics were awesomer than The Miz, if you can even say that he is and I’d tell you more about the movie but my attention was focused between Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson. I had my large popcorn, which I ate in a mere 15 minutes and a medium Pepsi. Who told me to drink that? I had to go to the bathroom twice before heading to T.G.I’s.
When we finally got to T.G.I’s at 10:00 PM, thanks to that driver stopping to talk to some chick, we got ourselves a table with a nice view of everything. Thank God it was Friday right? It was ladies night too, so it was all about us. We ordered and the waitress said it was a busy night, and that the food would take a while, so we ordered Sesame Jack ™ Chicken Strips and Crispy Green Bean Fries as appetizers. Yup, we planned to pig out.
While we waited for our order and gnawed on the appetizers, which were very good by the way, we started talking about boys and how rude, disrespectful and unappreciative they are.
Jade nibbled her fries, “Guys, I’m telling you, they are just dogs.”
“But they’re not all the same. At least I’d like to think there are some good ones out there.” Simone added.
“No they’re not. If they are, were the heck are they?”
“I hear ya, I think I might know one though.” I blushed and smiled shyly when everyone turned and looked at me. “What?”
“Spill. The. Deets.” Shane looked at me sternly, raising her eyebrows and lowering her glasses to look me stern in the eye.
“Come on! I don’t know. But I may have met one.” I turned bright red. “His name is Brian, Didn’t I mention him?”
“No!” Everyone shouted.
“Okay you didn’t have to shout.” I smiled. “He’s a really nice guy -”
“- You think they’re all nice at first.” Jade interrupted.
“Anyways. He is actually really nice, and easy to talk to. I like him. Plus he’s cute, hot, sexy, infectious…”
I was drifting off.
Jade snapped her fingers, “Risey, snap of it. You’re going really red.”
“But Jade, it’s true. You should see those hazel green eyes.”
Everyone looked at me.
“How could you possibly be crushing on another of those scoundrels, after Max.” Jade looked at me upset.
“Well… I’d ask you about Marques…” I looked at her and smiled.
“Nigga please, I’m done with him.” Jade is hilarious. She’s the only one of my friends who is biracial but acts like she’s completely hood.
We all laughed. Then Christina announced that she was thinking about getting back with her ex-boyfriend.
“He said he’s changed and I believed him, so I gave him another chance.”
