The full moon was high in the sky, Thistlepaw waiting with Tunnelpaw and Sandpaw in the clearing. Yellowpaw was sharing with a couple Bloodclan cats around her age and younger. Bloodclan didn't usually come to gatherings, but occasionally they would tell a patrol passing they were coming. Scourge refused to go, leaving it to Bone to share news.

Tigerstar sat up on the Great Rock sharing quietly with Bone, Blackfoot at the bottom with Brick. A yellow she-cat padded over, dipping her head to them.

"Hello! My name is Wasp." She purred, sitting with the apprentices. Sandpaw murmured his welcome, Tunnelpaw dipping her head.

"I heard from one of your warriors that you won a fight with Adder." She turned to Thistlepaw. pride gleamed in his eyes, though he licked his chest with embarrassment.

"So what if i did?" He tried to sound tough. Wasp's eyes sparkled with amusement, Tunnelpaw narrowing her eyes at the she-cat. Was she jealous of Wasp? He shook his fur, ruffled by the tension between Tunnelpaw and Wasp. When he was going to ask Wasp a question, Bone stood up to speak. The cats quieted down as the deputy waved his tail.

"Bloodclan is well fed with new queens. Twolegs stay away from us, scared to meet us in battle. One new kit has become old enough to hunt for theirselves, Lava." He dipped his head to the young flaming she-cat. Sandpaw stared off at Bumblepaw, warmth in his eyes. Thistlepaw purred in amusement at the tom.

"A couple kittypets were trespassing, but we sure showed them not to take step on Bloodclan land." He fluffed his fur in pride before stepping back. Tigerstar stepped up, his mighty paws gripping the rock. Thistlepaw shuddered at the sight of his father. He could kill a cat in one swing.

"Tigerclan has been well fed and had no intrusions. Greenleaf was good to us. One of our warriors, Nightflower, has kitted four beautiful kits, Gingerkit, Spottedkit, Tinykit and Nightkit." The cats congratulated Gorseclaw, pride in his eyes. Thistlepaw made sure to watch the kits carefully whenever he could, unable to shake the uneasiness from his dream.

"Kittypets have made sure to stay clear of the forest and our warriors chased off a fox a half moon ago." He dipped his head and jumped from the rock, going to speak with Bone and his deputy. Sandpaw sprinted over to Bumblepaw as soon as he stopped, leaving Tunnelpaw, Thistlepaw, and Wasp alone. Wasp was sitting close to Thistlepaw and he could feel the heat and tension arising from Tunnelpaw's pelt. If Thistlepaw could scent this, Wasp definitely could. A tom padded over, with the look of a new warrior.

"Wasp, we are leaving. Bone won't be happy if you make a bunch of friends from Tigerclan." Tunnelpaw scoffed at the tom.

"Trust me, we aren't making friends with her." She muttered. Tunnelpaw seemed to genuinely dislike her. Thistlepaw had only just met the she-cat, but it seemed like Tunnelpaw had known her for moons.

"What was that all about?" He asked, pure curiosity flowing through him. He wanted to know what had her fur all ruffled.

"She thinks she's better than every other cat or that she's going to rule Bloodclan when she's older. I hate her so much." She snarled, stalking off with Yellowpaw and Tawnypelt ahead. He slipped back to Sandpaw, still shocked by Tunnelpaw's dislike to the young golden she-cat.

"Tigerstar said he's making Leafkit, Squirrelkit and Whitekit apprentices tomorrow before sunhigh. That means we will be having our Final assessment in a quarter moon!" Sandpaw purred. Thistlepaw had forgotten about his final assessment. He had been so busy trying to watch the kits, keep up with his battle training, and listening to stories from Nightpelt, the old Shadowclan elder.

"Hurry up you two!" Feathertail called, looking quite plump. She must be expecting Smokepelt's kits. Great Starclan, that'll be more than four kits crowding in the nursery! He thought to himself. Though she was still small, Thistlepaw knew she was expecting kits. she was wrapping her tail over her small plump belly protectively.
