Thirteen

Her mood drops happened more often.

His mood dampened when she entered the room.

Everyone's mood soured as the gloomy atmosphere filled the room.

No one was happy.

The duo was gone.

She sat broken, as he sat scarred.

She couldn't take back the things she said or did.

And even though he said she was forgiven, she still regretted it.

She smiled towards him as though she wasn't broken.

He spoke to her like nothing was wrong.

But when they turned around their smiles dissolved.

They both hid their true emotions, never saying what was wrong.
