Knowing you ruined me?
Knowing that I can't overtake you now?
Is it better?
Knowing that you're smarter than me?
You ran into an obstacle
That was me.
A person better than you
Brains and heart
But even the smartest people fall
And you decided if you couldn't get past me
You would make me fall
And so, you kicked me
Right in the heart
And I fell
The others didn't notice, they wouldn't notice.
But did you know
That if you just asked
I would have gladly backed down?
You didn't need to be this way
It didn't have to end this way
