Rose's POV:

"Rose, there you are!" I heard from a distance as I walked out of my last classroom of the day. It was Lei.

"Hey, what's up?" I greeted her and she just shook her head.

"Nothing really. Where's Joy?"

I scanned the halls for any sign of Joy, but there were none. "I don't know. Just leave her be, she's probably just with Yunhyeong or something." Lei just nodded and we kept on walking until we were out the school doors.

We were gonna see her later on anyway. Us three girls asked our parents for a one day extension to our sleepover because the boys crashed it. But of course we didn't tell them that the boys attended.

Lei and I were already exiting the school gates, when we were stopped by Minhyuk and Chanyoung.

Oh shoot! I almost forgot that Minhyuk wanted to meet up with me after school. It's not like I really planned to go, but it'd be rude to leave him hanging. I might as well get this over with.

"Rose, can we please talk? Privately?" He asked with a hopeful look on his face.

"Why privately? Can't you just tell me what you need to tell me here?" I told him uncomfortably. I felt like I knew where this was going. But I could be wrong.

Minhyuk looked at Lei and Chanyoung then sighed. "Ok, fine then. I guess I can."

I grew impatient and more nervous by the second. "Well then, can you make it quick? Lei and I need to be somewhere."

"No we don't." Lei butted in and I glared at her. She got the hint and retold her statement. "I mean...yeah we have to...finish up a project that Mrs. Cheon (our English teacher) assigned us."

Minhyuk frowned and shook his head. "But I'm in your class remember? And she didn't assign anything. The poems were our last project before we changed our schedules on Monday."

I sighed and frowned. "Whatever, just tell me before I lose all my patience." I said looking straight at Lei. I wasn't really mad at her. Just frustrated that she couldn't help me out a little.

Minhyuk took a deep breath and looked me in the eye. "What I've been wanting to ask you was if you-"

"You know what. I can't take this anymore! Minhyuk I'm sorry, but I can't accept your feelings. I have a boyfriend now, and it's Bobby!" I blurted out ignoring the fact that there were still people and our friends around us.

You could tell Minhyuk was greatly taken aback by my sudden words. But he wasn't the only one.

"Wait, you're dating Bobby, and you never told me?!" Lei yelled at me but I ignored her.

"That's not the point, Lei. The point is that, Minhyuk, I'm sorry. You're a great guy and all, and I really really like you. Just not to the point where I'd...date you." I told him awkwardly.

He looked at me in confusion then his frown turned into a weird smile. "Wait, what? Rose, you thought all this time that I liked you? Where did you even get that idea? Look I know I'm irresistible, but I always thought of us as just friends the same way you did."

Chanyoung burst out in laughter and I glared at him furiously. Then he stopped when he noticed me and said, "Would ya stop shooting laser eyes at me please? You're practically melting the depths of my soul."
