Rose's POV:
Four days have passed already. It's Tuesday, and Bobby's been staying over at my house ever since my mom found out about his situation from his aunt, and I forced him to because I feared for his safety. My mom begged his aunt to stay over as well, but she refused each time. She claimed he wouldn't lay a finger on her knowing what she's capable of. I guess her situation was different than Bobby's apparently.
Speaking of that guy, or Bobby's father I should say, he hasn't returned ever since that day, according to Bobby's aunt. This worried me, but Bobby just said it was normal, and that he's probably out on the streets, wandering his way out of his misery or something.
"But even though we know that'll never happen, he always comes back," he assured me one day when I asked him.
"Always?"
"Yes, I give him until the end of the week at least. Sometimes it takes a bit longer than that, so I wouldn't worry."
Flicks of that day we talked about his father shriveled up as I returned to present time. I was in my room, lying lazily on my bed in a highly uncomfortable position due to the inconsiderate someone next to me.
I'd just woken up from a nap, and it was about 5:00 in the afternoon, after school of course. I'd had a long day, so I definitely needed the relaxation time, and Bobby was kind enough to join me.
We hit up a game today against Arvin Hills, some foreign, rich kid school. It was a good game, but I didn't really stress much this time, considering we won 5-1. You could say it was a warm-up game for the next two teams we're playing tomorrow and Thursday. I heard their tied for 3rd place, so I expect enough for us to play hard.
After lying like a potato on my bed for a while, I finally decided to get up and be productive. But as I did, I felt a sharp pain rise from the back of my head.
Not again.
I haven't had my head aches in a while, so I don't know if they're getting better or worse. I groaned in pain, but I was practically used to them by now.
I paused when I felt Bobby move in his spot next to me, because I didn't want to wake him up. Then again I also did so we could talk about the birthday party we were invited to on Saturday. Seiyeon, Jinhwan's sister ways having some extravagant 20th formal birthday bash, and even though we're just guests, I still want to be prepared.
Failing at subtlety, I decided to just lie back down and hope the headache would just go away by itself if I stopped thinking about it.
I layed back down and pulled the blanket over my shoulder, snuggling closer to Bobby for more warmth. Instead, he'd absentmindedly nearly pushed me off the bed and took the blanket for himself.
I whined and shook his arm. "Babe, share the god damn blanket, will you?! What's the point of taking a nap with me if you're not going to take a nap with me."
His eyes opened slightly, and he gave me an apologetic look. "Sorry, baby." Bobby said in a raspy, tired voice. "Here, come here, Rose," he said with the blanket extended along with his arms welcoming me into them.
I smiled warmly and gladly made myself comfortable in his embrace. Although I was not facing him ((lol as in they were like spooning just as an FYI if this is difficult to visualize for y'all)), I could practically see him smiling already, although he'd just woken up.
He sighed in content, breath tickling my neck. "Meeting you is the best thing that's ever happened to me," Bobby whispered. He placed small kisses from my collarbone to my neck, causing me to squirm in my position. Yet he continued, moving his hands along my waist, excruciatingly slow.
