"Happy 1 week anniversary, baby!"
"Shhh. What did I tell you? What if we see someone from school that finds us out and the news gets to our friends?"
Joy and Yunhyeong were still at the mall hanging out on their date. They were just about to leave but stopped to get a snack on the way. Menji's ice cream.
"Ughhh...why does it matter Joy? I want to tell the whole world. I don't get why you were so persistent about keeping us a secret. It's not like Rose and Leilani don't approve of me." Yunhyeong said as they stepped in line.
"Yeah, but my Dad doesn't. At least I think he doesn't. Plus, it's already been a while, and if Rose and Lei find out the wrong way, they might get mad at me. We were already almost caught a lot of times by Rose. You never listen to me when I tell you to be discreet, babe!"
"They'd never get mad at you over this, they're your best friends. Plus, it was your fault that last time she caught us, because you were the one who insisted on watching a Rom-Drama. And you know how emotional those movies make me, so how could I not hold back."
Joy sighed and just grinned widely. "Whatever, I'm just glad to be able to finally spend time with you even between all this drama that's been happening."
"Me too." Yunhyeong whispered sweetly, wrapping his arm around and pulling her close. The boy placed soft playful kisses on her neck, causing Joy to giggle cutely.
"Stop that tickles," Lei shrieked, pulling away, laughing hysterically.
"God, I fuckin' love your laugh, it's adorable." Yunhyeong said hugging her from behind.
"I know right."
Another voice said randomly out of nowhere. Both Joy and Yunhyeong turned to meet eyes with one of main waiters for Menji's. He looked about the couple's age, a high schooler.
"Excuse me?" Yunhyeong asked in annoyance. He scanned the waiter's uniform for a name tag but it was covered by the cleaning rag slung over his shoulder.
"Oh nothing sir. I hope you enjoy it here." The boy said, flashing a disgusting smile (in Yunhyeong's eyes at least). "You too, beautiful." He said winking at Joy. Yunhyeong pulled her closer as the boy passed by her and walked away from them to a just-now vacant table for two.
"Damn, that guy was-" Joy stopped as soon as she noticed the disapproving look on Yunhyeong's face. "...repulsive?"
"Ouch, that hurt my feelings, sweetheart."
Joy looked to see the waiter facing their way again. "Aye, get back to work, will ya buddy?" Yunhyeong said in utter irritation.
When the waiter was finished and definitely out of earshot, the couple continued their conversation.
"Damn, I hate the workers here. They're literally the only thing I don't like about Menji's. It just sucks that this is our go-to hang out places whenever we go on dates."
"What do you mean by workers? You mean there's more of those hotties that work here?" Joy asked suddenly excited.
Yunhyeong just glared, but ignored her statement.
"Yeah, you haven't heard about them? I went to school with these guys when I was younger. There's seven of them...and they all go to Sangin High and attend some music club."
"Really?" Joy asked curiously.
"Yeah, see over there? That's Kim Namjoon, their leader. He's clumsy but cool and can be a bit goofy if you're that close to him," Yunhyeong said pointing him out.
"And those two by the cashiers, the one on the left is Kim Seok Jin, the oldest, who's taken the position as Assistant Manager. The sleepy one on the left is Min Yoongi, and he has a very deep sincere relationship with his bed and pretty much anything he can sleep on. That also includes Jimin."
"Yah, get to work, idiot." The older yelled, flicking Yoongi in the ear.
"Oh, and here he comes now, Park Jimin." Yunhyeong gestured over to the door where a boy stood covered in trash and the left over spillings of ice cream customers had sadly abandoned.
"Hyung! I kind of tripped on a pebble and spilled all the trash." Jimin yelled to Seokjin. The older simply groaned and pointed him out of his sight.
"Oh, and I finally found the pink sweater Namjoon, hyung gave you for your birthday." The older's eyes widened as he heard Jimin's remark and quickly looked over at Namjoon to see if he had heard as well.
Joy giggled at all this idiocy as she admired the boy covered in trash. "Jimin's kind of cute."
Yunhyeong glared at her and blocked her sight of Jimin. "Moving on...over there, the one wiping the tables, also the one who was flirting with you earlier, Kim Taehyung. He's an...interesting human being. He's also the same guy that got Jinhwan all fired up the last time we came here. But mind you, he's actually a very kind and gentle person, who occasionally overly whips, dabs, and naenaes in times of joy. I blame Kunpimook ((BamBam, ladies)). Everyone does. Especially when it comes to Kook."
"And there he is now...Jeon Jungkook, the youngest but definitely not the least of the group, not that any of them counts as a least at all." Jungkook walked over to them with a genuine smile on his face.
"I heard my name, so I feel the need to introduce myself," the boy said holding out his hand for Joy to shake.
Yunhyeong slapped his hand away and patted him on the head. "Get back to work, busboy."
"Gee at least I have a job. Still hopping, YoYo?" Jungkook asked with a smirk on his face.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Joy asked.
"You don't wanna know, sweetheart?" Jungkook whispered in Joy's ear before leaving.
She completely melted eyes following him as he walked over to Taehyung.
"Now eyes over here, baby." Yunhyeong said gently pulling her chin towards his direction.
"Wait, but you said there were seven. You only showed me six." Joy whined.
"I wasn't done yet. And I saved this person for last, because oh he's a joy. You should never leave out a member if you mention at least even one of them. They're all equally important baby, alright?"
She nodded. "Okay, last but definitely not least...you see that man over there sweetly entertaining those old ladies in the corner."
Joy looked behind her and saw an all-smiles boy looking a little bit older than both her and Yunhyeong. He cutely danced and sang with the old ladies as they laughed genuinely out of happiness.
"Young man...you bring hope to me I haven't felt since forever. What's your name, boy?" One of the cute ajummas asked him, beaming.
"Jung Hoseok, ma'am. And may I say I love that shawl you're wearing! It looks ravishing on you, love."
Joy smiled in awe at his kindness and how sweet he was to the old ladies.
"Why isn't everyone all over him, like they are to the others?" Joy said referring to the vast majority of girls in Menji's bawling over these men. "He's not any less special than the other six!" Joy burst out, angered.
Yunhyeong nodded sadly. "I know, I know. Some people are just too blind to see true character. They are all special in their own ways and all good people."
Joy nodded then paused in confusion. "I thought you said you hated them. If you do, then why do you know so much about them?"
"You know what? I'm not in the mood for ice cream anymore. Let's go, baby." Yunhyeong said, passing Joy to exit the shop.
Joy giggled and stopped him, with her hands at his chest. "Nope, tell me."
"It's not even anything big. Why are you getting so worked up about it?!"
"Oh, I'm the one getting worked up about it?" Joy said laughing hysterically. "Babe, just tell me I won't make fun of you." Joy said cutely, hugging Yunhyeong around the waist. She looked up at him with twinkling eyes.
He fell for it and didn't even stop to hesitate. "Okay, I kind of looked up to them when we were younger. I was kind of a...fanboy, I guess you could say." Yunhyeong confessed, timidly.
Joy squealed and giggled at his remark. "Oh...you're so cute! I love you so much, Song Yunhyeong." Joy squealed, pinching his cheeks.
"Aish!" Yunhyeong yelled at her, furiously. "Joy, you know I have sensitive skin. Hands off the face at least," the boy whined.
"Oh, I'm sorry baby. I didn't mean to." Joy piped cutely as she patted Yunhyeong's cheeks lightly and hugged him.
"Oh, what a beautiful couple. I so believe in twuuuue wuv."
The pair looked up to see Hoseok in front of them, smiling intently.
Joy just giggled and thanked him.
"Hey, can I get a pic with you?" She suddenly sad, taking both sides to a surprised state.
"Woah, really? With me?" Hoseok looked behind him to make sure he was the one Joy was talking to. "Um...sure, but why me? And not the younger waiters or something."
"Because I think you're a very sweet and kind person; equally amazing as they are...Hoseok."
The expression on his face grew even more happier as he heard this, but was still puzzled. "How- how do you know my name?"
"Name tag, honey. Now get over here so we can take this picture."
Yunhyeong stepped back willingly as he watched his girl friend take a picture with another man. But he wasn't one bit jealous because he knew there was some meaning behind her doing.
"Thank you." Joy said as they viewed it and were happy with the out come.
"Anytime, beautiful. Take care, man." Hoseok said as he walked away.
Alone once more, the couple stood in silence.
"So why'd you do it?" Yunhyeong asked, smiling.
"Why'd I do what?"
"Don't play dumb, Joy. You know what I'm talking about."
She just sighed and leaned her head on his shoulder. "He just needs someone to let him know he's special and worth gold...They all are. I can tell they're going to make something great of themselves someday."
"God, I love you so much." Yunhyeong said as he kissed Joy on the forehead.
"I know you do...Babe, I don't really feel like ice cream any more. Let's go home."
"Your wish is my command, my love." Yunhyeong cooed as he draped his arm over Joy's shoulder and turned to exit.
"Wait, I need to use the bathroom first."
Joy was about to make her way into the unisex single restroom, the only one they had, when Namjoon suddenly walked out with a weird smile on his face.
"Damn, y'all do not want to go in there. It's like Pompeii in there and Daddy Vesuvius just exploded." Namjoon piped proudly with two thumbs pointing in his direction.
Joy gagged and rushed back to her waiting boy friend.
"That was quick!"
"I didn't even go," Joy whispered, traumatized.
"Why not? Babe, it's vacant, come on."
"Nah, I can hold it, let's get out of this place before the smell spreads." Joy took Yunhyeong by the wrist and dragged him out all the way to his mom's car that he'd borrowed for their date.
All buckled up and set, Yunhyeong drove them out of the parking lot onto the streets toward home. "Your house?" He asked.
"Yes, and that's going to be your last stop for the night."
"What?"
"Stay over, I want to spend more time with you." Joy cooed, taking his hand in hers.
"Baby, as much as I'd love to, aren't your parents home?"
She just laughed and soothingly ran her fingers through his hair. "Hey, don't stress, alright? When are they ever home? How do you think we got away with all three of you boys sleeping over last night? I'm pretty sure we can manage if they are. You're not hard to hide."
"Joy, are you serious? I am not going to do that. It's too risky! You're dad already doesn't like me enough. What more if his own daughter goes out of her way to sneak her boy friend in?"
"Okay, I'm kidding, I'm kidding. But I'm serious about spending more time with you. Come on baby, when do we ever get time for just the two of us. I want to make the most of it."
Yunhyeong sighed and thought as they stopped at a red light. When it turned green, he finally made a decision.
"All right, your house it is."

A/N: Yo, yo guys! Aye, y'all are probably wondering why I just had a bunch of BTS references and the actual them in this chapter. Well I just wanted to kind of dedicate it to them as a type of BTS appreciation post. I'm so happy for them, because after stanning the boys for over 3 years, they're finally being rewarded and immensely recognized (a little too much that it's annoying sometimes) for all the hard work they've put in. I also just wanted to do this because there's been all that drama about some of the members not being acknowledged or appreciated as much as the others. But just as an fyi, for no hate, Jimin's my bias. So pls do not assume I think J-Hope is the only one being mistreated. There are all people that mistreat each and every one of them, some more than others. But I hope the boys know that our love for them wins the victory over the haters. Like Yun said, they are all equally special in their own ways and all deserve the love they recieve. Anyway, I love you all, and thank you so much for all the support! I'm almost at 1k and I will keep pushing. You guys are in for a bunch of shit. I cried writing some of the rest of these chapters.
(written January 14, 2017)peace, love, and jimin's butt,
