I stood up and threw my trash away. I looked behind me and saw Leila was already hooking her gun up to her belt.
"Shooting range?" I said. She nodded and I latched the trapdoor. She started climbing down the ladder and I saw Alina hookah up her belt to. "You to?" I said.
"Yeah," see answered laughing softly. I sighed and let her go.
A couple minutes later I could hear gun shots going off below. Must be Leila ad Alina, I thought. I shook away the thought and kept walking. I pushed open the door to Ben's room and saw Han laying there. The droid was sweeping in the opposite corner of the room. I sat beside Han and he groaned.
"You haven't had breakfast yet," I said standing up. "I'll be right back," I said looking at the droid. He nodded and I left him with Han. I shit the door softly and went to get some breakfast. I l got out a cu of yogurt and pulled of the tab. I set it down and went to grab a spoon out of the basket on the counter. I carried the food back to Han.
"Here you go," I said sitting beside Han. I fed him the yogurt and he took it willingly.
When he had eaten all the yogurt I stood up and went to throw away the empty container. As I was dropping it in the trash can the ground shook. The trapdoor flung open and Leila and Alina ran into the room.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"First Order," Leila answered quickly. I nodded and ran to get my gun. I slammed the door shut behind me as I ran to the ladder. I quickly climbed down and stood at the base of the tree awaiting the next attack.
When it never came I started heading back towards the ladder to coins back up. I heard a lid bang and out tree house cought on fire. Part of the house collapsed to the ground crumbling t pieces. "Oh my gosh,"i said under m breath. Leila ran to get Han and anything else down from there.
I just stared in horror. The gunshots kept coming destroying more of the house. A tear ran down my cheek. My home, I thought. My new home. All... Gone.
