I looked out the window and saw nothing but empty space. "Clear...," I started but then I saw a huge group of ships coming straight at us. "Never mind!" I shouted running to the cockpit.
" what?" Leila asked turning around. The ship shook and Leila fell before I could answer.
"That," I said standing up. "I'm going to go get Chewie. I ran throughout all the rooms looking for Chewie. Finally I found him. " go to Leila," I said pointing ouy the door. Chewie wailed and gladly left. Now I had to go back to to gun hatch.
I sat down on the seat and pulled the lever that would start up the guns. Out of the window, I saw about three ships. I heard a laser come from the right. I hadn't fired that, had I? I thought. I looked to the left and saw it was the other gun hatch. And Chewie was in it!
I pulled up the controls and kept rapid firing. I had hit about three ships when more came down, continuously shooting us. " how are the shields!" I shouted to Leila.
" fifty percent!" She shouted back.
"Ok," I said to myself. " let's do this," I kept shooting and shooting. Lasers firing and sometimes hitting a certain ship. Some ships fell and some stayed strong and kept shooting.
"Shields are t thirty percent!" Leila shouted. I kept shooting hoping we could win this one.
"Twenty!" Leila shouted a few minutes later. Kept shooting. "Hang in there guys!"
I smiled as I took down yet another ship.
"Ten percent!" Leila shouted. That was bad. Any moment now they could break our shields and they were free to fire at us.
"Five... Four... Three... Two...," Leila said. Then the lights turned off. "Zero."
The First Order kept shooting not giving us the mercy we begged to have. A laser hit the window in front of me. It started to crack. The crack was growing by the minute, getting bigger and bigger. I leaned back. The glass shattered. Shards flying everywhere, hitting me. I held my breath as I floated out into open space. I fell out of the open window and was just floating there in the middle of nothing. The Millennium Falcon drifting away. I couldn't breath, I was getting colder. I closed my eyes.
