I looked out into the empty darkness. I crawled up to the door and sat on my knees. The room felt like a cold wet cave, but the metal floor told otherwise. I turned around and leaned up against the door and closed my eyes, falling asleep.

I fell and hit my head in the metal ground. "Hey," I said looking up. I saw Leila.  I sat up rubbing my head. "How'd you...," I started.

"Her," she replied looking to the left. Leila had her gun up against Phasma's helmet. I fell backwards baffled.

"God, you're amazing," I said laughing.

Leila looked at me and then back at Phasma. Phasma tried jerking away and Leila gave a cold, hard stare. "Move and I pull the trigger," she said looking at her gun. Phasma immediately froze.

"You won't do it," I had heard her raspy metallic voice hundreds of times, but never seemed to get used to it.

"why's that?" Leila asked, her finger was twitching above the trigger, I could tell by the look on her face she was itching to just blast Phasma's helmlet off.

"You need me," she said as she started entering the code to the cell.

"Come on," Leila said looking back at me. I stood up and we walked out the door. Immediately after I stepped out of the room sirens started blaring.

"Let's go!" Leila shouted running away.

We ran all through the ship searching for an exit. "Here!" Leila shouted now turning down into yet another hallway. At the end of the hallway I saw a growing white light.

"That is the exit!" I shouted starting to gain more speed. I passed Leila and we stepped into the light.

The loud buzz of the machinery was ear piercing. All along the walls were giant boxes with wires hanging out. There were sparks everywhere. "Where...," my voice trailed off.

"Machine room," Leila said answering the question that was on my mind. "Where all the power comes from," she said walking further into the bright light.

"Leila," I said reaching out to stop her. She looked back at me annoyed.

"What?" She said rolling her eyes.

"I don't think...," I started but Leila interrupted me.

"It's fine," Leila said walking even faster now.
